- Here it is at long last! The "You Pick, I Vid", project, and its my first vid for 2015, how about that? I made a few additions for the new year in my vids, so don't miss the ending for a surprise! A big surprise in there actually....*winks*
♦ I started this project in hopes of finishing it at different times over 2014 for different reasons each time and failed at every attempt; however the theme remained the same. The theme of "Change". As many of you good friends of mine know I started college last year (fall) and it was a big adjust for me. Probably the biggest change in my life thus far.....I was terrified! Not just for going to a new place way away from my comfort-zone and meeting new people; It was something I've dreaded all through high school when everybody is constantly pounding you with questions like, "What are you planning to do with your life?" I had never known how to answer such questions because I didn't know. irritating Thats such an awful thing NOT to know!
I realize I'm not alone in finding my way in this world; so hopefully if your going through a type of change - whether its moving, or loss of a loved one, a new job, or anything you'll connect with my meanings in this here video. To encourage you not to run or hide, because it will be all right if you keep your faith and trust in God whose watching over you! warm hugs
For me, thanks to the loving support and prayers from my family and dedicated friends here, college has opened some doors and proved not so frightening as I envisioned. However, "I'm still looking" as Hiccup said for what I want to do with my life. Those first 22 secs of the intro with the VOs were to capture my questions and fears overs these changes about the future. I don't expect ANY of you to know where that one VO on change is from. (INFO IS AT THE END BTW!) To those who might, high-fives, but I can tell you its from a family TV series my family and I watch together while I was growing up. (Probably my favorite one.)
I've found a direction over the fall semester in Digital Media (major currently) but I'm still unsure what God wants me to do... I'll be getting ready for my spring semester though next week on the 20th. (Still a little nervous)
♦ Now, to those of you who've been good and watched that before reading any further, I am going to start doing what I call, "outros" at the end of all my vids!! It includes ALL the info about that video from when I started the project to even the video #. (And if your wondering where the end date is, its the upload date on YT because thats absolute) And yes, I made the background; it looks like something I'd make, ha! I'll play around with that I'm sure as time goes on. I wanted it to be and look different though. Oh and I miscounted anyway, I actually have 108 uploads, lol! (Whoops! Annotate!) There are links on it btw!
Also even bigger surprise: I finally created a BACKUP CHANNEL!! Yes yes, theFrozenFuryfan95 (Great name, I know. Wanted to merge my two favorite frosty fandoms!) / @thefrozenfuryfan95

What else I'd like to do is:
• Start hosting maybe monthly MEPs there to keep it somewhat active.
• Along with uploading some of these dying projects I got that have slowly lost the inspiration to make
• Plus possibly giveaway some stuff like overlays/textures I use.
• Also I might again upload some tutorials....even if I'm still shy about it.
(Do u think those are good ideas?)

I wont go into the details on making this one. Cant believe this is the 1st vid I've made to a Phil Collins song; I ♥ his music! Thought about adding some lyrics too but the vid is already pretty busy; I thought they would take away more than add to it. There are a total of 32 movies in here and my editor was getting kinda touchy about that. Whew, that was a lot of movies! All of you made great selections! I'm real pleased with how it came out....if only YT didn't RUIN it! The coloring is all messed up and some of the footage doesn't even look HD (and its ALL HD; I'm funny that way). And its still kinda dark, or low contrast. Hopefully it looks good on your screens because it looks perfect on my WMP.

Because the story is about looking through another eyes and this song is also based off that too as well and that’s why is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time. Ahhh, I see "my part" with MPAS!!! And I'm completely in love! With this entire video! I know that feeling of going to a far away place away from home, what with the editing experience I had over summer. It definitely is frightening, but we both pulled through!
Here it is and it's BEAUTIFUL! ♥ I've been waiting to see this video since you started creating it! :D This is such a beautiful song and it's perfect for a video like this! Wonderful work with the flashes and I love how you used some underrated movies like Bolt, Epic, Croods, Ice Age and Rio. My favorite parts were probably the one with HTTYD at 2:02 and the Rio one and the Wall-E one which I chose. ;) Everything looked very smooth and HD to me, not at all blurry or too dark.
Good luck with your college! I hope that it's going well. :) I'm in a little bit similar situation where I have no idea what to do with my life! Or actually I know *what* to do, but not exactly *how*. But I'm starting a new job on summer and it scares me a lot. It's my first actual job and I'm terrified. :D But in a good way, I guess. I'm not good at new situations and I have little bit of social anxiety, so this is huge to me! Luckily your video encouraged me to do this no matter what, so thank you for that! ^w^
Oh, and loved the ending of the video which showed all the info of the video. So pretty and fun idea! :3

WOWW! I'm in AWE! I LOVE THIS! Absolutely amazing editing, you've outdone yourself hun! It's so sweet! I loved the ROTG & the croods parts in particular - oh and KFP because the lyrics were so incredibly perfect for the scenes you chose so those were kinda my favorite :D But the entire video is fantastic and the song choice is perfect!

Okay, I'm writing this as I read/watch, so first, the description. Or, er, the first half of the description, I guess.
Aw, glad college is working out for you! But it's okay to still be looking; you're still just a freshman who's only completed one semester! Some college kids are lost all the way into junior year. I was always very driven, but admittedly, I was pulled in different direction when I first got here and changed my major twice. (If I could take 5 majors without dying or running out of money, I would.) I see paths for my life, but there's about 4 different ways they could go, and they're all enticing. I think I picked one with the biggest rewards now - emotional and fulfulling rewards, not monetary, I won't make much money - but I still question it now and then. So you still questioning when you're only one semester in? Not to worry. Just keep exploring.

Okay, it is 12:30 am. I cannot sit here and comment on every single fandom section. So I'll just say OMG THIS SO AMAZING, ALL THE FANDOMS MATCH SO WELL, AND I JUST CAN'T HELP IT, IT'S SO AWESOME! The lyric matching was incredible, the flashes amazing, the amount of layers breathtaking, the zooms...I mean, what can I say that's wrong with this? I guess it's too bright at times. I guess the VOs are a little soft - I have to turn up the music pretty loud to hear them - but I'm sure that's partly because of background music that you have to filter out.

I'd also love to see your dead and dying projects. Finished or not, I'm sure they're awesome!

Thats great news!! If its something you love doing then it'll pay for itself in your happiness. And thats the most important thing you know I'm sure. Its just nice to _know_ what you want to do and already have that goal ahead to really motivate you to push onward. This semester I'm studying Motion Graphics, and I really like that! But I'm still looking....

Yeah, Road to Avonlea isn't well known; its a Canadian show....from the makers of Anne of Green Gables though (You've had to of heard of those movies.) But its a REALLY good family TV show with solid characters :)

Well when I use a "movie" I tend to treat any sequels as part of the deal and letting it be chosen twice. I mainly do that cause I have no idea how my brain is going to interpret a given part and I usually see elements from both.

Ohh your absolutely correct!!! YT totally mangled my coloring and quality....since this vid it does it to all of em now. It does something to the contrast. I have a hard time with the VO when I have to switch the audio into 5.1, and had to render it out 3-4 times to get em right cause in the editor it sounds fine. It could be louder, but I guess I got tired of rendering.

I think I went a little overboard but I wanted the ending to be somewhat climatic and unlike anything before sooo, I just went nuts! I took a snapshot of it for you, but IDK if it'll help much. All you can see are 3 layers multiplied on top of one another with one clip after another. The ones on the top tier are usually Chroma Keyed, and the other two flip flop between different variations of your transition...with lots of "flashes".

*Nods excitedly* Yep, I needed to do something to give me more description space for one, but....IDK, I'm never content with my work; I want to keep finding something fresh and new to add in some way. (The one thing totally disorganized on my PC) I have I don't know how many duplicates and its always hard to find what I'm looking for so I really need to take a day to organize things. Once I do I'll start uploading some for sure! :)

This is the one I'm still on the fence about. I've had several request about things, and really DO want to help people (Because its easier for _them_ to understand seeing it than be babbling on in some foreign editor's language), but its like stage-fright for me doing. I'll have to break the ice one of these days....I'd like to do one that sort of like, "The Making of a vid" showing me starting and working through it till its uploaded....but I'd probably never finish it at the rate I work, lol!

I've got a few. I hate "giving up" on them, but they're just DEAD. You know? The inspiration is no longer there and you'd rather be spending your time working on something else. (And you wonder, "Why in the world did I ever start that thing again?").

WOW. You sound like my mother. (*shouts in the distance* "Get off that computer!") But if someone sounds like my mother than I have to know that that person genuinely cares about my well being. Thank you for saying that, and being sensible. *hugs* You really are empathetic in your feelings for other people. I DO need to be careful; not run myself to the ground in my social life like Glory did, but I just feel like I'm in my hey-day right now and I gotta take advantage of it! I've been flooded with countless ideas ever since I started college, and I want to do, ALL OF THEM!! Including those like the second channel and outros, and you name it. Tumblr pretty much runs itself; I go there on mobile and browse to pass time in between classes or eating a snack so thats nothing. I'll let that go without worrying about it.
For sleep, well thats another story. My mother always talks about, "I'm young" about being able to do this and that like she used to, so I think I better stay up late while I have the chance and can handle it. When it catches up to me I'll know it and cut back at nights. (Cause I can't stay awake)
As for exercise, April helps me out there. She is sooo playful and is always making up games getting me to play with her, and I love it!!! We run outside together most and play like kids, aha.
I guess I thought doing MEPs would be a good idea when I WAS busy since they pretty much make themselves....I don't even have to make a part if I want to, but, we'll see. I won't be doing it monthly thats for sure.

I greatly value and appreciate your warning (you have no idea how much); if I was wise I would stop where I am now and listen to ya, but I gotta try and test the limits some and see what I can and can't do.

Oh my, NF95, I don't know where to start from this! This is amazing, and your description, and new backup channel, and, and! Ok, here we go:

First of all - FINALLY! :P - Aww my, have I waited for this ever since you have done all the parts (yes I actually followed that) and when you told a commenter that you'll first be finished in New Year, I thought "NOOOOO!" But then I thought, "ok, a New Years Eve-vid, how cool" - clip to me waiting New Years Eve - no "You Pick, I Vid-vid :P (but you saved it by that vidder promotion video, I'm still thankful for that)
But then I wake up this common Tuesday, and what do I see? Yay! And my what an amazing vid you have completed here (wouldn't expect anything else for you) - but wow, just your intro and new outré (oohhh - I will get to that later) - You handled every part with such an amazing creativity and how I loved your part with TLK and Mufasa saying "remember who you are" and then going right over to Brave - what a brilliant idea! And now I'm waiting for "my" part - Frozen with Elsa - and wow! 1:54-2:00 - and you know what? I was thinking about the exact same clips! (Maybe not that exact, but neither far from it either, we're kinda a like xD)
Your intro with all the voiceovers symbolizing your doubt in getting into college, oh what a great idea to come out with your thoughts. Getting thoughts out like this certainly helps. (The countdown was a funny feature too). And then we start right out with Balto at 0:24 - one my old childhood favorites (even though I've never edited with it, I watched it over and over again as a kid), and then this whole amazing video kicks of, and as I mentioned - every part handled with such a care for both the movies and those who chose them - especially I could see your connection with Fan at your MPAS-part - 2:44-2:51 - Fan is going to love this part, I'm sure of that, it's just her style, and the same with all the pairings and friendships - brilliant, brilliant my friend!
And what do I see at 3:32-3:39? Yay Pocahontas - so cool that you used it, and I'm so glad that you finally got that and LOTG (man that was a though one! xD), and I also see Soren and Guilfy flying in the skies at 3:47-3:56 along with some amazing masking skills of all the other movies you used as well as the voiceovers with more uplifting and self-believe - man was I touched right there, and then you put in that quote - oh, you're so amazing you know that? Then we have your now funny little outro with Toothless hidding behind your previous video and then having credits on the others side - brilliant idea and it's so you (meant in all positive ways!)

I clearly remember when you posted that and your updates on college along with your other uploads, and I remember and still do knowing the exact same feeling. Starting on something new and going out of your comfort zone can really be hard, but when that new thing become your comfort zone as well - the winning feeling of it is just amazing! We have been emailing a bit to each other about that, and remember if you have any trouble in fitting in, doing your homework, or just need to write to somebody, never doubt that I wouldn't be there for you! Deciding your future can be a tough one - just ask me - I've tried going through 3 different education arenas, and I had to drop out of them as I didn't feel I belonged there after all, and every time it has been a downer, but then as you said yourself, I had my family and friends to support me, and that is the best help you can ever ask for.

You know, I actually discovered that channel a few days ago, and I quickly figured out that it was your backup-channel, and can I say that I'm crazy with that banner, icon and new logo? My! You're so creative - it's so beautiful!
And I love all these ideas you've got, and don't be afraid on doing tutorials, you will do amazing! And MEPs? I'm so hyped just thinking about it - "DO IT, DO IT, DO IT" *winks* ;)

Wow, Fury, this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL (moved me to tears at some points). The VOs and overlays are completely gorgeous. Yes! I've been waiting for this for awhile now! Can't believe it's been like 4 in a half months! Wow! I watched this earlier but didn't get a chance to comment because I've been busy. I loved all the parts that were put in, especially Httyd and Httyd 2 and Big Hero 6, those went really well and I also liked Brave of course. This was just absolutely stunning, with all the flashes and voice overs and over layers, it was just magnificent! I LOVED IT! What a great vid to start off the new year! Awesome job! Keep up the great work! :)
