Despite the horrible drainage and the rain you did a superb job! It is a beautiful property. I am sure the owners were thrilled. It was nice of you to throw in the paths and cement area too. You are a class act! Stay safe out there.
I don’t know how I ended up watching this video, however; I did, and you Sir grafted. What a first class job you have done. If I needed this kind of work done, based on this video, I would hire you! Keep it up, and wishing you continued success. All the best to you and yours. 👍👍👍
A good idea discussing the clogged drain, lack of drains, drainage patterns, creating a possible "game plan". The number of variables that can add-in sometimes is almost funny, in this case, possibly low water pressure, sludge, poor drainage. As far as the paving, it looks like it will turn out well. 14:26 we have a clean area contrasted with still-to-go. It looks nice. Perhaps if they have you back to do the India Sandstone later, you could do the wood furniture as well. It already looks like the fence was improving. That was an enjoyable job. You beat the difficulties, the place is much renewed. Nice work.
What I loved about this particular video (apart from the Ginja Ninja) was the way you transformed an eyesore driveway (which really did bring down the otherwise beautiful gardens) into a statement driveway worthy of the balance of the gardens. A wise choice from the owners to think twice about changing the whole thing. I also particularly loved how you took us through the complexities of drainage and the way you think out solutions - you must go through this planning process on all of your jobs and its really nice to hear your thought process. Love your work (particularly loved the mossy roof in the forest!)
I was hoping you'd PW the garden bench, I like seeing the transformation on furniture, and maybe a bit of the fence to see if they'd change ther mind about replacing that too. If the posts & pickets are sound good wood it would only need a new coat of stain or paint which is less expense than a new fence and would save them even more money.
I seem to spend far more time than I should moaning that the weather app is completely wrong. Can't rely on these things at all. Brilliant job Nick as usual Nick. thanks for the upload! :)
Homeowners....one word...DRAINAGE. If you are hiring someone to do work that will require adequate drainage, check your drains. Weathermen...one word...ACCURACY. Tradesmen depend on accuracy when scheduling work, get it right. Okay, putting my soapbox away. Nick...another fantastic job. Drainage issues aside, you did save them thousands by giving them back a brand-new-looking driveway. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Would really like to see the equipment listed brand wise and such that you use in each of your video’s so if people are interested they can search for them..Great job..
Yo Nick, great video, those pesky no drains must do your head in, all that extra time. Great video, love watching them. I'm learning so much and am going to have a crack at my own moss laidened driveway. I don't have a surface cleaner but do have a turbo nozzle, I'll give it a go! All the way from New Zealand 😂
My goodness, terrible drainage and rain! It is a lovely property though. Once again Super Nick cracks on, and makes this huge job look amazing!! Love this video as always! All the best to you and yours Nick, be well! Hugs from Texas 😊
hey nick have you ever checked under the big rectangular pavered plate with the silver triangular corners and the pull up handles to see if a drain is hiding under any of them?
Was thinking and about to post the same. I've watched several of the jet washing people on here bemoaning the lack of drainage when there clearly appears to be a sewer access cover available to flush the waste water down, but they never use it. Given what normally goes down sewers I can't see how there would be an issue with putting dirty water into it.
oh, ok I am from the US and didn't realize those where manhole covers for sewage or electrical or gas line that are hidden underground but your answer actually makes more sense! I thought it might be a massive drain pit for the driveway for when it needs cleaning and the main drains are backed up!
@@craigkenyon1780 No worries mate, you weren’t to know, not even some English people are aware of it. It would be great if we as driveway cleaners had that option, but unfortunately we don’t. All the best Craig, Nick.
My cat Angus and I were watching your video. I find this kind of video very satisfying to watch, as I'm sure many others do. Angus, however, was not so happy when the cat made an appearance. Not the dog barking! However, he has recovered. Thanks for this.
Lovely stuff. I recently saw someone replace such a block driveway with resin bound, probably cost them £10,000+. Madness. A bit of TLC and the lifespan of some of these driveways and patios can be tripled or better.
That was cool Nick! No more dark slippery walkways and a beautiful drive! Darn that rain anyway! LOL I miss your music though😁 Hope you have a wonderful week kiddo!
Nick, you did a fabulous job as always! But in future when you do email quotes will you be asking if they have adequate drainage? Because that lack of drainage added a huge chunk of time to the job.
There are folks who expect us to believe they can tell us what the weather will be doing in 25, 50 and 100 years, but humankind still can't regularly forecast weather correctly 24 hours out. That job turned out great! I love chasing water around, it's like trying to push a warm stick of butter up a tiger's behind.
How one of the rainiest countries in the world has so many blocked drains is beyond me. I guess there are so many and so many were added after the fact that it’s hard to keep them all open all the time… when the drainage works, it’s a beautiful thing.
Having been raised in England and now living in Texas, I know the feeling of never knowing from one minute to the next what the weather is going to do 😂
I just finished up a massive 4,000 sqft paver driveway. tons of moss and algae. took 2 days with my tiny 2.5gpm ryobi. I need to upgrade. what kind of tip do you use for rinsing the dirty water away? Ive been using my turbo nozel and it does and okay job.
Wow....just awesome job. Ans saving them replacing it all, what would a customer expect to pay for your restoration of this size if you dont mind me asking

Many thanks Suzanne
What a HUGE difference. Very lovely driveway and yard.
Aw thanks Tatianna 😍
Big job, big drainage problem. You made it look so smart ! Well done !
Wow what huge garden! No wonder there was a huge driveway to match. Wonderful job! Driveway looked practically new afterwards ❤
The man who never lets us down strikes again shame the same cant be said about the great British weather well done Nick ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great job! I´m amazed that a driveway that big, didn´t have a proper drain!!!
You and me both 👍

Class act Nick. Good indepth explanation on all aspects of the job.
Turned out beautiful 👏
Much appreciated bud, top man 👍👍
Beautiful job Nick!😊
What a mess that drainage situation was! Final result was beautiful. I hope you’re ok after your slip in the last video!
What a lovely comment, big thanks as always Colleen 💕
Good job, what with the lack of proper drainage ... Maybe the clients can use some of the saved money to have the drainage fixed? ;-)
Would really like to see the equipment listed brand wise and such that you use in each of your video’s so if people are interested they can search for them..Great job..
First timer. I am impressed. Big job and looks like new. Nice work.
Wow what an amazing transformation Nick! You did a phenomenal job even though there was no working drainage! Much love from Greece!
So nice of you, much appreciated 💕
And that one wouldn’t have been enough anyway
Great job. Bonus points for the sanding.
Well done! Thank you for sharing your work.
Thanks for watching!
I've seen a couple of channels we're they have, such up machines. Would they be worth it good luck in future jobs. Fantastic as all ways xxx
Well, the clients wanted a new drive, and you sure enough did that for them; it looks brand new! And for a fraction of the costs, too! 😉
Thanks Alexis, what a great comment 😍
Looks amazing. You get to work at some amazing properties.
So kind, thanks Elizabeth ☺️
Nicely done, with all that standing water and mud it was difficult to see which bits you had done, but you got it all...
Glad you enjoyed it, many thanks David 👍

Awesome job. Would’ve went quicker if the owner cleared that drain out first. But aside from that …amazing transformation.
Lovely job well done bud 😎👍🇬🇧
Great job Nick under the circumstances with that blocked drain!
Hey Russ, thank you kindly mate 👍

@@PrestigeExternalCleaning Aww, thank you Nick! That's very kind!
Another amazing job well done 👍🏼 You sure had a few challenges on this one! The barking at the cat 😂
Fantastic job, it came out beautifully 😊

It’s illegal to remove manhole covers and intentionally wash dirty waste water, full of sand, silt and mud into. But thanks for your comment 👍

Thank you kindly
Nick, you did a fabulous job as always! But in future when you do email quotes will you be asking if they have adequate drainage? Because that lack of drainage added a huge chunk of time to the job.
You did a fab job 👍
First question i would ask: Do you have a working drainage? If not, get it fixed quick. Then I will be right over.

Thank you! Cheers!
Fantastic transformation!! What does the sand actually do and would you say it's necessary? 👊👊
Cracking job lovey.think you need a wet vac for that water x
Amazing job!
Thank you! Cheers!
What soap do you use for the hypo?
My dad was an engineer in the Small Engine Dept. at Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee, WI. He may have designed some of you pressure washer parts!
Awesome 👍
Up against it there Nick Great job
Terrible drainage but a great result. Well done Nick.
Awesome, thank you kindly Mishka 💕
Came out pretty
Thanks Nancy
Another fantastic vid. What surfactant do you use and how many mls per 20 ltr to get a good coverage as you do. Cheers
Powershift cleaning.
Beautiful
I’m new! Love watching your videos. But what does re-sanding do?
Top job 👌🏽
Thank you! Cheers Paul 👍
Cracking job as ever
Top man 👍👍
AWESOME job and video as ALWAYS Nick, what a difference, what model of the Briggs & Stratton did you use on that job?
Nice one William, it's like this one mate, but mine's the EFI one www.rutlandpumps.com/briggs-23hp-mazzoni-25lpm-300-bar-wheelbarrow.html
Drainage nightmare!! You had to graft for that result! Get some good deals nowadays with Email quotes 🤣 Tidy job 👍
What a lovely job you did NIck. You always do a little extra for every client don't you?
Such a kind comment, which is really appreciated , thank you Alina 💕
Is it the 250bar watertek leaves excellent results are your surface cleaner jets 025 or 015 as that moss came out easily. Cheers Nick
It's a 300 bar EFI engine from Watertek, I use 025's mate 👍. Thanks Neil 🤝
Was that a polymer based sand? I wasn't sure if you skipped the activating water rinse to let the rain do it... thanks
No it was kiln dried sand.
What size pressure washer do you use GPM
What is the sand for?
Great job done. What pressure washer did you use. Ah missed the start the Briggs. What's the power on that one
Cheers Neil, it's 300 bar 25lpm 👍
Didn't know they did the Briggs in 300bar I am after 300bar is it still available to purchase do you know? And thanks for your reply
How do you get your hypo so foamy. Have you done a xjet set up video I’ve not found it so apologies if you have.
Top job as always me old China😎👊
Not yet mate, i've been meaning to do one for ages. i'll get round to it eventually 😁
Fabulous as always mate🍺👍
Thanks Andy 👍
Lovely as always Nick and greetings from NZ 5:30 am
I got woken up by a cat
Hey Andrew, 😁 sorry to hear that, we have lots of cats where we live, that happens to me all the time 🐈😸😞
At 26:20 there is a main drain cover. Is it allowed to lift that and flush your washings straight into the main drainage system?
No, if the water companies catch anyone doing that, it’s potentially a very big fine.
What is the substance you spread and brush in? Is just sand? Great videos by the way 😊
Thanks John. It’s kiln dried sand 👍
