Wholeheartedly agree that you don't need 1000hp to have fun. The bov sounds great and that smooth power delivery... Man that's the kinda stuff that I'm going to miss with electric vehicles
Yea totally agree, you don’t need anywhere near that to have fun, with good suspension, brakes and a healthy strong power plant putting out 250-600 is plenty and you can have a lot of fun and still get in a lot of trouble with whatever your driving… I can’t even imagine 20 years from now when 50-60% of vehicles on the road will be electric, gona suck!

This is Why I will never sell my 92 1gb Talon. It weighs 2900 with full interior, and sub. It makes 700hp and will never, not, put a smile on your face, and knowing you can smoke anyone, anywhere, anytime. I've never been beat by anyone on my normal DD route to work and back.

You know I own a dc5s, 3yrs ago blew my engine so I put a civic si swap it’s finally driving I always wanted to awd since forever but y’all really make it easy to do it I hope by winter I can go too this set up 😂
Great comment, regarding the “fun to power ratio”.
Iv an Evo 6 RS and a 5 RS, the 5 has a 2.2 with 694 hp / 660lb ft and the 6 has a 2.3 running 420 hp and 400 lb ft.
The 6 has the short ratio box , spools up really quickly and on certain roads its more fun as you can go a lot harder in it.
Sure, the big power is more impressive, but on the roads up in the Highlands of Scotland, where they can be very bumpy and narrow, sometimes its more scary than fun!

The guy Justin from Hubcity Performance did my B16 swap in my first car ever when I was 15, an EF hatch..15 years ago lol he was still working out of his garage at his house back then, he was the honda legend around our way always had something ridiculous.

Been in love with Hondas since my first one. An 86 accord. Had my own 400 plus whp b18c sc61 turbo. Now 15 years later. I'm going with a 700whp awd one. I'll never sell it
My first car was an 86’ Accord as well! Loved it. Flip up lights and carburetor- the end of an era.

Looks like a 17x9 with a 245/40. It’s a popular size for RSX’s and Civic Si’s of that era.

@@philenchymsejour8018 yeah no problem! I know that you can only get the deeper dish rpf1’s on a 9 in wide. I got the same size on my car. Id google a lot of forums for your car and see what others are putting on theirs and if they have fitment issues. These are the widest I could go with a fender roll only on my 08 civic
I love everything about that car except the hood exit I know why they do it because of turbo lag but I'd rather deal with a little bit of leg then smell fuel in my face all day that and I just hate loud cars just a personal preference but awesome build man very well put together whoever did the fab work deserves a pat on the back
They also do is cuse there is kinda sorta no real estate under the car due to an extra driveshaft where the exhaust tunnel used to be…..

@@BrandonBuiltVideos it's possible. They didn't do a high power motor so the parts for AWD are mostly stock parts from a CRV.

If you want top of the top. Yeah definitely need a lot of money. TRC AWD system is total stock (no billet or whatsoever). So maybe around 7-8k?

So amazing 👏, well done Real St it looks better than a stock version would. My only question is now, can you get upgraded versions of the wagon drive shaft? Otherwise I feel like I hear the guys that use this system are replacing the CRV parts regularly when pushing 500+ bc they just weren't ment to hold anything close to that. Can't wait to see where this build goes from here.
