  • There are many reasons why you could have condensation and standing water in your cab lights. In my case water entered the light through a hole made from a screw protruding through the sealant covering the top screw. When the sealant was swiped across the top of the screw a small portion of the screw was left exposed. My lights are glued to the fiberglass fairing making it extremely difficult to remove them without destroying the light. In this video I describe a way to clear the condensation from the light without having to replace it. It is important to find the root cause of the water or it will just reappear.
I did not replace the small black screws before reapplying silicone sealant. They are not needed to secure the light in my case. The screws presence make it difficult to dig out and reapply sealant.

Good video. What was your follow-up? Did you recaulk? Is it still sealed. I have a PM 2017 and one of my driving lights had some moisture. I unscrewed it and it drained and then I put caulk on the screws. Have you looked at your roof factory seals yet? Mine were poorly installed leaving gaps that I could see the seam where the roof pieces were welded.

I still see condensation from time to time. Not the standing water though. My roof is sealed fine it's the addition of the poptop that presents some challenges. Really need to park nose up and keep up with the sealant.

I’ve got a Winnebago solis 59p and have the same issue. Maybe a recall issue across the fleet??? I have the same leak issue and the lights don’t even turn on. Some are finding leaks into the “pizza oven” area.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's a complicated issue. I plan to make a video on the subject. If we understand how it is happening then we can take steps to avoid it. You should park nose up when possible.
