I don't get how people can voluntarily watch these videos and still dislike it, the man is trying to help us all out. Thank you so much for these videos coach! See you on the next one!!
So Im trying to try-out for my school basketball team this year but I only play for fun with friends. I really want to know things to be careful about while playing like fouls and also what each position does and the importance of it. That video idea would be a great help
This channel is really great for if you want to get better at basketball. We have recently got some gym time for basketball practice. So I’m a 5’10 Sophomore in high school going to play JV Basketball in the winter. Back in 8th grade I used to be the only center (so I grabbed rebounds, blocked shots, was in the post etc.) Once I moved to HS basketball, the center position seemed to disappear. Now since I learned only center growing up, I didn’t really get much playing time on my 9 man freshman team last year. If my teams don’t want to play a center, what could I do to show that I can be a great asset to our team? I have an above average jumpshot and since I played center, I can’t really dribble the ball well. If I could get some feedback on what to do, that would really help me to actually play this year. Thanks and enjoy your day.
In my opinion, people don't need to learn a lot of moves to play. I think everything comes naturally. James Harden said - it's an instinct. (You don't think what you are going to do most of the times).
I agree with the second part and disagree with the first part. If you watch Harden practice he’ll work on certain moves over and over until they’re habit and natural, then he’ll work on more. It’s this type of practice that allows them to come as instinct.
Idk if he has one but there are plenty on other channels. Lots of different ways though so search for beginners don’t try doing Kobe jump shots before you even know the basics.
Axel Rosales I’m in a similar situation I’m 13 and 5’10” and my defender is often 6’2”+ try practising lots of handles like through the legs then behind the back combos. Also what position do you play if you play C and aren’t already very experienced then I would suggest move to SF (my position) as the norm height for SF is around 5’0” at my school (but it might not work because what happens to me is the C comes out and marks me and the PF takes rebounds.

Great move to use at the top against over aggressive defenders. Draw ‘em in, get in the lane, draw in help, kick out to shooters. 👍
Absolutely man. Once you’re in the lane you can cause all kinds of damage
