It's delicious to complete this mission with SA rank. When you have prepared both kills, you just have to sit, relax, and enjoy the show. Its a splendorous display, I actually got the feeling I was a hired killer, the tension, the suspense (did the actor take the real pistol? will the lamp fall in the right moment? will it be too late, too soon?) My fucking god, and the walk back to the entrance was like ... Oh yeah, I'm triumphant. Those people will never know they were witnesses of a masterpiece of assassination.

I like how they implemented the catalyst mission for Contracts in Blood Money. The targets have changed slightly though.

16:30 got to love the programming in older games. When they realise he's dead they start running around to random places, waving their arms.

Man, as much as this mission is great (rewatching this, by the way; not sure why, but it's probably because I just love this mission), that firing squad assassination scene (based on The Crow) is now more harsher in hindsight with the set of Rust recently.

The opera scene from Tosca depicted in the mission has a woman think her lover (the character D'Alvade is playing) isn't about to be executed, thinking they are just faking it, until she realizes he actually has been shot and she decides to commit suicide.
It's a clever little mirroring of that scene the developers did here.

I appreciate the time spent on the newspaper article, Zevik. I always find reading what is put out at end of missions like this informative and interesting.

btw: the painting at 1:35 is a Rembrandt: "Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Tulp"; location of the original is Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague, Nederlands

"Who cares if he's a pedophile rapist as long as he can sing?" Ugh, this is like those fangirl clubs for murderers that demand their release just because they're "handsome" or some shit. Some of those crazy women even marry them.
On a lighter note, maybe they should change 47's codename to Trollface.

Yeah, Im betting that actor is in jail for murder probably. Unless he had evidence proving he didnt switch the gun on purpose and kill D'Alvalde himself out of jealousy or something.

no, because a hit man acts professional.
no civil witnesses means you'll never see him in a suspicious manner.
