For a four year old plane (could it be a mistake?) the interior looks incredibly shabby. The seat backs look filthy and there is no removable head rest covers. Broken armrest too. You even captured a picture of a bug at one point! You have to hope the mechanical servicing is better. The meal looked generous - more like airline meals used to be. Matches the old fashioned look of the cabin. Maybe you found some sort of time warp, lol.
Actually that aircraft has been delivered in 2005 not 2015. There has been a mistake. It’s quite noticeable that it is not a 3 or 4 years old aircraft.
These older a330s are from 2005, they carry 300+ pax, so they're configured all economy class for high demand flights with least cost, like Hadj flights or France, the newer ones of 2015 do have screens onboard and 18-20 business class seats 😊, and the new ones coming on 2025-2026 will change the game forever for Air Algérie
The meal looked edible and was a surprise for such a short flight. Otherwise, I think that this aircraft needs a complete refurbishing of the cabin. New subscriber here as I enjoy your programs. Take care and Happy Travels!
@jacques euxupery @jacques euxupery Royale Air Maroc et Air Algérie ont toute deux procédé cette décennie a une rénovation totale de leur flotte qui commencer à se faire très âgé mais sur ce point Royale Air Maroc a renouveler sa flotte bien plus rapidement qu'Air Algérie principalement en raison d'un budget plus sein et mieux gérer et je dois l'admettre que malgré le renouvellement constant de la flotte d'Air Algérie que Royal Air Maroc gagne sur ce point surtout depuis qu'elle s'est débarrasser de son dernier avion long courrier sans IFE (747-400 CN-RGA). Niveau classement je trouve que c'est une arnaque car certaine bonne compagnie sont mal classés par ces fameux classement comme par exemple Aeroflot alors que d'autre comme Air Canada sont sur classés et il y a plein de facteur qui créer ce phénomène bien trop fréquent.. La RAM exploite plus de destination qu'Air Algérie car le Maroc est un pays touristique et d'ailleurs le tourisme est vitale pour l'économie marocaine alors qu'Air Algérie sert principalement a transportés les Algériens et donc Air Algérie n'aurait aucun intérêt à envoyer des avions vides vers Miami, Washington ou Boston quoi qu'elle envisage d'ouvrir une liaison vers New York dans les prochaines années, une liaison vers Johannesburg, vers Shanghai et vers Sao Paulo ce qui n'est pas sure d'aboutir de si tot pour la plupart d'entre elle faute de besoin.. Puis d'ailleurs Air Algérie se déploie dans 4 continent vu qu'elle opère plusieurs vole biensure vers le moyen orient et le golfe mais aussi vers Pékin/Beijing et ceux depuis 2009. Parlons maintenant du service, niveau catering AH fourni de bien meilleur plat et en bien meilleur quantités que la RAM et c'est clairement le point fort d'AH, niveau ponctualités il n'y a pas de débat sur ce point.. Il est difficile de battre le niveau d'imponctualité de beaucoup de vol de la RAM. Les avis sur les équipages de la RAM sont assez partager mais Air Algérie à un équipage très amicale, sympathique et professionnel quoique il n'est pas rare de croisés 1 ou 2 hôtesse/steward qui n'ont pas l'aire d'aimer leur métier et qui te limite balance ton plateau à la gueule mais de façon générale l'équipage d'Air Algérie est très agréable.. Puis niveau confort et divertissement en vol je crois que c'est évident la RAM détruit Air Algérie sur ce point et d'ailleurs Air Algérie doit se dépêcher de finir de renouveler sa flotte car ce n'est plus normale de voir des cabines non équipés d'IFE en 2021 cependant sur les vols long courrier ce sont les nouvelles cabines qui opères.
Bel décollage et atterrissage ...reste que Air Algérie est obligé de fourni plus d’efforts pour servir du mieux ces client qui sont devenu tres exigent ..Merci pour la Video ..gentille de votre Part
I am Algerian and I can tell you that people are scared shitless of flying (the vast majority of people). They're basically clapping because they made it out alive.
They scrapped an A310 with the same registration in 2014, then got this aircraft in 2015. It’s almost like they’ve taken the seats from the A310 and put them into this A330!
What exactly is so wrong with these seats? They look well padded and therefore were probably quite comfortable to sit in unlike the more modern seats with wafer thin seat backs and no padding. Your comment that the seats were like something from the 1990's implies that there was something wrong with aircraft seats in the 1990's when in reality they were more comfortable and better padded and the legroom was usually better as well. The meal was good although unfortunately not up to Air Algerie 1990's standards... you certainly would get nothing like that in Economy on BA for a 2 hour flight! With regards to the lack of IFE, what do you reasonably expect for a 2 hour flight?

I am Algerian and I can tell you that people are scared shitless of flying (the vast majority of people). They're basically clapping because they made it out alive.
This seats and this (awesome) catering are a travel to the past in aviation.

They scrapped an A310 with the same registration in 2014, then got this aircraft in 2015. It’s almost like they’ve taken the seats from the A310 and put them into this A330!
At 6:12, that safety card looks as if someone crumbled it up, spilled water on it, and touched it with bloody hands.
What exactly is so wrong with these seats? They look well padded and therefore were probably quite comfortable to sit in unlike the more modern seats with wafer thin seat backs and no padding.
Your comment that the seats were like something from the 1990's implies that there was something wrong with aircraft seats in the 1990's when in reality they were more comfortable and better padded and the legroom was usually better as well.
The meal was good although unfortunately not up to Air Algerie 1990's standards... you certainly would get nothing like that in Economy on BA for a 2 hour flight!
With regards to the lack of IFE, what do you reasonably expect for a 2 hour flight?

guys tbh I traveled before one week with air algerie and seats was just amaazing very comfort and clean (it's boeing version)
