In this series we are going to go through all of our possessions, successfully getting rid of over 1,000+ items. We have been on our journey of minimalism "mynimalism" since 2014. It has shifted our entire lives more then we could have imagined. We want to be able to help others understand minimalism isn't as hard as you think, but it is a journey that will take time and patience as we have been doing this for over 9 years. We are here to help and guide those on their journey to become minimal or live a clutter free life!

Rock on, guys. I'm down to only having 10 pieces in my wardrobe. I used to buy so many clothes and never wore them. It took me a while to get where I am now.
Thank you so much!! That is phenomenal!! I can totally relate, I am supper picky when it comes to how my clothes fit. I would always buy things just to see if they would work later lol. It defiantly takes time.
I love that you're also showing your "mistakes" like the TV in the bedroom, as well as your attitude towards it (ok we learned better, we'll fix it). Thank you for showing your home. I'm three years into being relatively minimal (two closets for clothes, linens, crafts, electronics, work tools, cat stuff, etc) instead of three and am giving my sister the third later this week!
Thank you so much ❤️. I absolutely love to be transparent as perfectionism doesn’t help anyone it only limits. I know how overwhelming it can feel right now but try to look at it as it’s only going be a bigger transformation. It definitely took us time and many lessons. We are still working towards our goal but we make sure to make it as fun as we can. I am so happy for you. You totally got this 🥳😊❤️

I absolutely love that 🤩 I personally do that, and I am so happy to hear that I am not the only one. However my loving sons and sweet husband don’t pay any mind to that when hanging clothes, but I definitely won’t complain 😂 (We do a rotational chore system, I am always by their side, but I try not to say anything to let them be as much independent as possible in order to build their confidence) But I absolutely agree, I also color coordinate and categorize by like items. As soon as I seen this I had to show my husband that I am not the only one 🤣🤣 Thank you so much 😊

Thank you 😊❤️ I got all of our swim bags a few years back from Wal-mart. I just looked to see if they still carry them and I found this one that has 9 pockets instead of one. So definitely more convenient. I really like having them all ready to go it saves us a tremendous amount of time when we go swimming ☺️ They have quit a few options.

I am so sorry for the delayed response. For some reason not all of the comments are showing in the studio app and I was unaware of it.
Thank you so much and welcome! Surprisingly we have figured out a way to bond and have fun while decluttering. We have learned the balance between the two of us and thankfully it is the total opposite of one another. We really want to share what we have learned in hopes it can help others. We do things a little differently and try to make the declutting process fun and enjoyable. So we hope we can change the outlook of decluttering from intimidating to achievable. I now get excited to do a whole house declutter compared to when I started, just because I have created different tactics to achieve those end goals. I love longer video as well. I was really worried that they were going to be to long, but I went with it 😄 I love seeing the full process because sometimes it can look effortless for others. I really wanted to show that it is a process even when you have less items, but nothing impossible. Thank you so much for all you kind words and support ❤️😊

So...who got into minimalism first?
That would be me, I started with just knowing about decluttering. I later discovered minimalism and tried to do as much research as I could but it wasn't as big as it is now. So we kind of created our own methods. We will be sharing a video about our journey soon. 😄
Sorry for not responding sooner. I took an unexpected break from social media due to the passing of my mom. I am ready to get back into the swing of things and excited to post more content ☺️❤️
