- In August, 2020 we went out on a road trip to see what Ontario had to offer. We ended up in the Kingston, Ontario area and went on a 1000 Islands Cruise from Gananoque - a 25 minute drive from Kingston.

Those cottages are amazing!! I like the one with the rounded roof. But seriously, I’m going to try to convince Ruth that a cottage in the 1000 islands is where we should retire! So beautiful.
Yeah there are so many cute cottages there. I'd love to have my own island. But maybe not there in the winter... 🤣

Always great to get on a boat during summer, especially this summer. Hilarious to think pirates used to cruise a lake in between new York and ontario 😂 lol love the creative shade protector, may need to order one the Turkish summer sun is no joke! Definitely think we would have opted for the longer cruise it seemed like a great time!

They do 1000 Islands tours out of Brockville as well.
Sorry no salmon in that part of the St.Lawrence that I’ve ever seen. I’ve lived on St.Lawerence 1000 Islands for 20 years. Lots of Walleyes, and yes some of the biggest Muskies you’ll ever see.
1,000 island cruise and it only last an hour. Expected it to be longer. Such a luxury to own one of these islands. I would love to go for some sailing there. Alan seems to be on the wrong side of the world with his shade creation. It is indeed not busy at all during the week.
This is such a gorgeous part of Ontario. Gan is a lovely little tourist town, full of history. Looks like you got some great weather and views. The footage you got is just incredible. It's just a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Oh ya and that Hobbit house is so cool! Greetings from Toronto looking forward to more videos friend.
Impressive place! It's nice to even just have a look at it, but I like that some islands are open to the public and there is a possibility to spend more time there, especially if you are a sailboat owner, haha :)

If you're Canadian, you need a valid Canadian passport - no visa.

We went on the 1 hour cruise but there are longer ones

Wow... I almost forgot how ridiculous those masks were... open air cruise in the middle of the St. Lawrence River..... mask on. Incredibly democratic.
🤣🤣 we said the same thing. We were in the open fresh air. With wind breezing past us 🤦♀️
