My fear is that maybe in 10 years time, web development will be so small because of drag&drop sites and only the top 10% will be left with jobs. What are your thoughts/opinions sir?
Yes web development is good for long term, mainly because programming is a valuable skill. Drag and drop builders can only make websites that look the same/have the same template style. And this is only the visual aspect. It does not support anything 'more complex' stuff like working with data, custom animations/visual effect etc , and performance ,speed of the website itself. Which are hard to automate. And if you have programming experience on your resume you can eventually shift into other programming jobs like programming software.
