Jad them installed 2 months ago,but had to take them down.They worked just fine,but Dice diagnostics threw an fault code of turning light signal missing.I think that the led can be the cause ,because of low voltage. Also my cooling fan stopped working.( turned out to be signal missing from a wire that went from ecm to cooling fan main plug). The period when that happened was near after installing these mirror dynamic lights,so ingot scared and took them off. I really liked them.
Hello Enduro. Well yes, installing LED insteaf of incadescent light can set a fault code. In this case I cant see any problem with function though. I have TFT DiM and dont get any messages, Other than reading error codes of course. When summer comes to Sweden, I will check how to add resistor without removing the door panel. (Ex. I have added a DSP to my stereo and get when I read out, error message of the same. But thats is no problem as everything works.), Lets say you create acceptable ghost error codes. :). Enduro,. when I have used this for a while with no problems, you might put yours back on??, They are exquisite.

I think it was just a coincidence, but let me be the guinea pig for you and see during a period if I would experience the same. 😉 The facelift version looks better but like you say, its another price tag. DSP, digital signal processor which I installed as my premium (low quality) stereo was awfull. Power from built in amplifier is 4x20 watt, which in real life is 4x9 watts. The DSP has 4x45 watts, which is more like 4x23 watts. And it has a 31 band equalizer. Also a pre out for subwoofer. So its a smaller easy type of upgrade which gives a bit better sound.

Today I checked error codes and there were nothing new, (other than the expected turn signal in DDM and PDM, and which is irrelevant). So I guess you can put yours back without any risk of getting problems elsewhere in the car.

Hello. I dont remember if I got any error codes. However, it did not impact the function. They worked great. During the time I had them, there were no deterioation on the finish. I bought these on Aliexpress.
