How salty is the water below the dam? Ive been thinking about going down this coming spring but my boat has never been in salt, ive got a little 20 horse jet on a 16' flat bottom, its a river boat. The last thing I want to do is mess my motor up lol. Do you guys do anything special to the motor? Is your boat set up for saltwater? I was told you needed to change the anodes to fish in salt.

No salt until you hit the Chesapeake. You'll be fine

what bait did y'all use. to fish Stripers?
Whole live white perch and eels are usually what we use
