Bhindranwale knew being captured would scorn his image among Sikhs. Bhindranwale walked out that June 6th morning when he realized further resistance was futile. His death was described by his bodyguard, he was no Baba Deep Singh, just a egocentric so called Sant with half good and half bad inside of him. At least he decided to die that day instead of running away like in 78.
Why so hurt harnam Singh. Guru Tegh Bahadur fought at age 14 with valour against the Mughals. Bhindranwale was no Sant, egocentric man who probably didn't even know how to use a gun. And BTW Shabeg Singh was the brains behind their defences, not your half-educated Sant.
