      I heard that altered state of mind in meditation and deep breathing or if you are religious or spiritual, you pray or any other method that brings you relaxation can help you get into an altered state of mind to think deeply from your subconscious mind .
      Thank you whether you respond or not ...( We do not know Each other but we can help inspire one another ...)

      We are the source, having a human experience.
      When you insert "a being", or even "a spiritual being" or "a soul" in that phrase, it implies some experience of separation or identification/ego.

      Spiritual beings do not suffer even though incarnated in a body, like Krishna, Jesus, Babaji, etc.
      Our essence is pure Consciousness k

    I'm doing better and better at self-soothing these days, my living conditions are bothersome at times still. However, I'm intensely focused on how to move through the moments of shame, blame, guilt, resentment and discontent... let them come up and pass, so I can feel free from the "tortured artist" image. Replacing that old self with the conscious self as often as possible. It has been really fun at times learning how to control my mind and let go of outcomes, while I prepare for my future. I'm super appreciative of the support from this corner of the internet. We love ya, E.T.

      Right you are! Pure love. Light. Consciousness. Being-ness devoid of Form. Our very existence here is a manifestation of a thought, a desire to experience a form-based reality. But once our journey through Form ends, we revert to our original Formlessness. In essence, we need not exist in order to BE, meaning that our eternal Being-ness is not dependent upon assumption of any form.

      As he said it’s about being present and in the moment. Some of us, and I am guilty of this, focus too much on tomorrow, as the saying goes - yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift, which is why we call it the present. I’m trying to live for today and it’s bringing more harmony into my life.

    I am not enlightened as yet but I have been practicing letting go as Eckhart speaks about for awhile. I am not always good at it immediately but usually relax into it at some point. Since I have been ordering and getting home grocery delivery during the Pandemic I have pretty much been able to let it go if I don't receive the specific item I ordered or it is not available etc. I know others who complain about the risk of shopping in the stores but won't order delivery because they can't always get exactly what they want. They will risk contracting a deadly virus just to get a specific item. I find this delivery thing to be a good spiritual practice. I also deeply appreciate that others are taking the risk for me. I should add that my husband and I are both way over sixty, no longer own a car, and he has chronic illnesses and is at high risk. I have pondered all this deeply. If everyone ordered then only delivery shoppers would be in stores and could mask and more effectively social distance plus they would be earning a living. I know it won't be this way but I just give them five stars and stay fairly content with what I receive. I encourage you to try it if you haven't already.♥️

    It is absolutely amazing to me that you used the sea view/wall view metaphor in this video. I live in a trailer park and before I got to the part where you talked about the view of the sea or the view of a brick wall, I paused the video and looked out the window, into the trailer park where I reside, and practiced presence for a brief moment. Then I thought, "Yes, this is ok, but I would much rather have a view of the ocean. Wouldn't this moment of presence be much nicer if I were overlooking the sea." And that is what all of us really are working for. We want that view of the sea from our living room window, but it's very expensive so we have to compete with each other, which brings disharmony into our lives.

    • @BeFoundOnTheWeb
      @BeFoundOnTheWeb 3 роки тому +1

      So I guess the real question for me is, did I somehow intuit the sea view/wall view story that Eckhart was about to tell? Or was it a coincidence? My resolution for 2021 is to try to use my sense of intuition more.

    • @onreact
      @onreact 3 роки тому +4

      When you see the sea all the time you stop noticing the view - It becomes normal. Most people living at the coast can't even appreciate it. When you don't have it and only get it occasionally it is much more valuable. It's like with everything else: "too much of a good thing..."

      Well, I've been thinking.....can't I sell everything and move where I want ? Work at McDonald's if I have to ....live more simply....what do we want more ? A view of the ocean or this or that....I think we can get what we want....we might have to shift some things around but where there's a will right ?

      @@susan4yahshua You can live a simpler life right now. Embrace minimalism. You don't have to move or work for exploitative corporations. Just realize that you need less and get rid of everything that stands in your way to happiness.

      I've found that from Deep awareness you can get the same enjoyment from simply looking at a picture of the ocean. really looking at it deeply and feeling the resonance in your energy body. you don't actually have to go anywhere. the incredible blessing of the internet that gives us access to whatever we want to see. there are just many mental blocks that people have in their conditioned egos, such as "I have to move" or "I have to go somewhere in order to experience x y z" when in reality there are so many beautiful experiences that we can bring to us in this day and age

    Sometimes satisfaction is made of putting pieces of a puzzle in place..the moments..but you build towards a greater satisfaction when you finish the puzzle. It is not in the present moment.
