I love the fact that the dad asks whether The boy is withdrawing from something. Obviously withdrawal can be very dangerous. I think he was very responsible for asking that and trying to ascertain whether he was just being lazy or genuinely ill. It’s hard for the kids to get up it’s a shock to the body clock.
I agree with the first half of the comment. Amazing behaviour, responsible, wise, yes.
No, they went from Australia to Montana. If you're talking jet lag and body clock, then it's the other way round, he should've woken up long before as it would be midday in Australia already
@@jenniferdaniel1174 I don't think he/she was talking jet lag, I think he/she meant the shock of withdraw.
I would be interested to see follow ups on these episodes how the teens turned out.
It's hard to believe one week can be as life changing for every teen as all the episodes end with.
Same. No way 1 week is enough to change the behaviours that these kids developed over the course of several years. Especially once they are back in their old environment which led to them developing those behaviours in the first place.
Agreed

Ahaha I love that you can tell exactly who’s who on the horses cause the teens can’t sit the trot properly 😂 The parents were so nice. These parents and the two guys with the five(?) foster kids are my absolute favourites. No yelling, no tempers being lost, no invading privacy or just uncomfortable rules like losing doors or taking belongings, just pressure and patience and love.
I think the kids were told to post up and down like in English riding on the trot because they hadn't mastered how to absorb the bounce.

I was married to an Australian. Kids are not raised with discipline or to respect their parents. It's a real problem. His kids were terrible, and it's one of many reasons why I left him.
