My parents had 9 children, 5 boys and 4 girls and one thing they taught was if any one of you fights each then both of you will get a spanking and you will be grounded for a month. No going outside unless you’e going to school and no friends coming over.
We had disagreements( like most kids do) but we wasn’t stupid.
I raised my kids the same way.
All nine of us finished school, half went to college and finished, the rest served in the military.
There has to be rules and consequences in a family.

Same. My mom had 12, we're younger and we will fight with each other. We were kids. She was spank us and make us apologize to each other and hug each other even if we didn't want to. Until this day we know how to agree to disagree and still love each other and not fight. 💯

This has been going on forever. Happened to my brother in 1993. We believe other one shot him, but his mama has been covering it up to this day- I haven’t mentioned his name one time to her in almost 31 years - but she brings it up showing her guilt. I just let her talk because eventually she’s gonna talk herself into a hole she helped dig

@@donnagreene938 I meant to say the lady who had me. She did not raise me. But I meant my biological mother. Her sister raised me. But the other two were boys and they moved to Buffalo New York when I was about seven years old and they were 8 and 9 I think. I when they were 20 he had just turned 20 in February 1993 and he was dead on sat April 24, 1993. They claim ge shot my other brother then shot him self. The cops didn’t even believe that story. But there was nothing we could do. I did not live there. The rest of of lives in Ohio and pa. I did not know those other people in Buffalo. But other family on that side said that something wasn’t right. Bio mother brings up his name all the time, even though I’ve never mentioned his name not once in almost 31 years because every time she opens her mouth, she just proves that our suspicions were right. She keeps trying to cover for the other one. But God knows. Anytime she brings up his name in 31 years. I have always change the subject and acted like I heard nothing she said.

I will never understand how people can turn on their own family. I may feel that way because it’s happened to me time and time again. Although some of my family members are shady I don’t believe that any of them would murder me. At least I don’t think. Your family should be the people you can turn to and trust with everything including your life. My heart goes out to the parents of this young man. His mother signed off on a plea deal for 25yrs. But the father of the victim was never made aware of a plea and his side of the family was even given misinformation about the time of the shooters sentencing hearing and didn't get to present victim impact statements. Sounds shady and I hope they can get an attorney and perhaps have that sentence re-visited. 25yrs was too light.
