- The grain of paradise is one plant that is exclusively used in traditional African medicine. This spice is also considered as a highly effective anti-fungal and antimicrobial agent as well as having antiparasitic properties. Grains of paradise can also help with heartburn and indigestion. In many African countries, grains of paradise is used for treating measles and leprosy. Several researches have revealed that the grain of paradise is aphrodisiac in nature thus can be used for stimulate desires.
Grain of paradise seeds have anti-inflammatory properties due to its constituent of gingerol. Apart from that it offers protection against inflammation of the body. Due to its stimulating properties and peppery pungent taste, grain of paradise is normally chewed as a stimulant to keep the body alert. Regular uses of seeds of grain of paradise help easy digestion of food thus preventing constipation and bloating.
The oil extracted from the seeds of this herb may help enhance testosterone levels. The oil extracted from this plant contains plant steroids and flavonoids which have been found to be effective in increasing the testosterone levels in male albino rats.
Grain of Paradise oil also may aid in weight loss. This spice activates the brown adipose tissue, which in a study was found to cause fat to burn, consequently leading to weight loss in rats.

This mixed with beta alanine works wonders for my nerve pain feels like there being massaged better than any painkiller I’ve ever taken with serious side effects and withdrawals but this is natural ffs took it every day for a year and only side effect was weeing a lot but I was drinking like 4-5 litres of water a day

@@christij2262 it’s a no tropic but if you mix it with caffeine you get a tingaly feeling that feels like it’s massaging your nerves and skin , to most people it’s uncomfortable but if you suffer with pins and needles , burning ext. really feels great , I was using yeti Ibiza juice because the paradise seeds help nerve pain too ,best one for the pain I think plus it would last atleast 12-15 hours
@@calamcouzens4470 I am going to try to find out and try it! I am so tired of fighting this neuropathy.. it is awful. I'm tired of talking all this medication that doesn't work. Did you do the ground pepper or did you buy it and grind what you needed etc yourself? That's what I am currently trying to figure out which one to get. Or if I should buy I mortyr and pestle or grinder.. I'm trying to do alot of things natural now.. I am just beginning so I need everything!

Yes .... Still take with caution ...and not for long periods of time as we know everything has two sides, pro/con ... spices/ even herbs .... can be hard on the stomach with prolonged use ...so glad we can share experiences !

Okay, it might not be at the top of the list. However, grains of paradise do contain constituents that have stimulating effects. It is an African spice that has not been researched that much on humans, most of the research so far has been done on rats.
