Do you notice a difference in your morning blood glucose after a poor nights sleep? 🥱

Been Ketovore for 6 months. Yet my latest bloodwork says I hit high insulin and glucose. This makes perfect sense since these past few months my sleep has been awful. Will definitely try to get more hours of sleep in.

Any suggestions for night shift workers. I am night shift worker and have had A1c between 5.6 to 5.7 past few years despite working out, eat healthy and trying to get to get at least 6 to 7 hrs sleep despite working nights. Would appreciate if you can make a video dedicated to shift workers with some tips

Every time I listen to your message on blood sugar control, I am always impressed with the simplicity and the good points you present in the message.
From personal experience, I already knew lack of good sleep stirs up stress that hikes the blood sugar and blood pressure. But your point on keeping off artificial light late at night and applying the red light effect for good sleep is very informative and interesting. This is to say I do appreciate your messages and you are also very pretty. It is not often you come across someone so pretty and still well informed in healthcare matters. Keep it up Kait. GOD bless you Amen

What would you suggest for those who, during the winter, begin their workday indoors before the sun comes up?

I work nights. I wake up every 2 hours between 8am and 4pm. My dr. is putting me on every blood sugar and pressure medication in the book to get the numbers down. Don't want to go on insulin. Help 😦😴

What about new mums? My insulin raised double in the last year, despite im back to the gym lifting weights and being more active and avoiding carbs more than before.. when we start sleeping again will it bee too late?

What's your thought about sleeping pills? I hate to resort to them but is poor sleep worth the risks in taking drugs?

They help you sleep but your sleep quality diminished so it defeats the purpose 😰

I typically fast for nearly 23 hours each day, consuming a dinner that's rich in fiber and protein, with a modest amount of carbohydrates, between 6-7 pm. This meal doesn't cause a significant increase in my blood sugar levels; they peak at 135mg/dl post-meal and drop back to around 100mg/dl within three hours. In addition to my daily routine, I make it a point to walk approximately 4-5 km before bed and another 5 km during the day, totaling about 10 km of walking every day. Before bedtime, my blood sugar levels are usually between 95-105mg/dl. However, during the night, I notice fluctuations, with my blood sugar levels oscillating between 115 to 150 mg/dl. Upon waking, the levels are about 120-125mg/dl, which then decrease to below 100 mg/dl by noon, thanks to my fasting state. Despite this active lifestyle and dietary management, my general practitioner diagnosed me with insulin resistance, indicating a HomaIR score of 4.7. I'm puzzled by these patterns and would like to understand why this is happening.
