Managed to get the g&g working nothing internal just bad qc from factory once it fed the whole high cap in a few seconds. 30rps turns some rentals heads
Excellent review my friend, I did a very basic comparison back in Jan between a 14TPA and an Warhead Ultra. The Warhead motor was 30% faster but drew 20% less amps than the brushed 14TPA this was with a 7.4v. The external temp after 2000 shots of the warhead was 35 (centigrade) whilst the 14TPA was 50 (centigrade)
It's a great motor. The pinion is rather weak I've found and I dont like the grub screw even with loctite. However they are very efficient, and better than the option no 1 brushless motor in terms of torque and speed for the ultra high speed. Currently I'm using the ultra high speed version in a 20:1dsg that's doing over 65rps with a 25amp draw.
@@TheRealDealAirsoft pts epm1s, or lonex flashmags. Or use the maple leaf magazine springs. Also j caged bearings make a nice difference in the amp draw for high rof
Thanks for the Review man! I just got this Warhead industries motor in the Mail today and then just saw this video pop up..what a coincidence!! I got the Ultra High Speed version. Can’t wait to get this motor installed in one of my guns! Already shooting a little over 40-RPS with a Tienly 50k high speed motor and 12:1 ssg shs gears in one of my kwa t6 but it runs a little hot. I’m expecting a little more RPS and cooler temps with this Warehead industries motor.
thanks for the review! I was trying to find TPA measurements everywhere, not realizing it was irrelevant. do you think a simple mosfet like a perun AB++ or a warfet would work with this, or would I have to get a more complicated mosfet that replaces my trigger contacts? thanks!
The mosfets that replace your trigger contacts are actually much less complicated , take the Perun Hybrid for example , Bro it’s so simple and so straight foward. You don’t have to think just remove all the bullshit from your gearbox ( cut off lever / trigger contacts / bulkshit wires and simply just put one screw to secure the board and that’s it. No soldering nothing. It’s so much better. Programable trigger sensativity all that for just $65 Available on www.TheRealDealAirsoft if you want one shipped out within a day your brother got you
I have a question i Have krtyac Rec7 barret model and i want to buy the warhead 50krpm but which battery should i use?? Can i use 11.1?? Or 7.4?? And which gear set is good 13:1?? Or 18:1 can you please help me with my question👍🏻
I’m currently on 16:1 SHS gears and a ZCI 22TPA motor, M120 spring, Titan 11.1v li-ion. I’m content with my current or Rate of fire but it does heat up quite a bit. Looking to update my gun as it’s a fairly old build, What gear ratio and which speed motor would recommend for similar or increased ROF and better efficiency?
Based on your information sounds like your rps is about 24-26 rps If you don’t change anything and switch to my real deal motor you automatically jump to about 30rps. Which is more so what your looking for. What I recommend which will tickle your fancy and will give you the results you were probably chasing in the beginning , Shs 13:1 gears and my motor. This will give you a wicked semi. Virtually instant response. As well as minimum 30 rps depending on the battery 30-34 rps This combination will make you so excited to spam semi then flip that switch and sling a stream of bbs at 30 rps. Massive difference from your current rate of fire. Even the zci on 13:1 is slow. I used to have that years ago. And felt like bruh doesn’t feel upgraded. Auto is like stock rpm. Zci is cheap for a reason. It does have 22 TPA but the magnets and brushes are poor quality and it’s slow. You would be smiling ear to ear with the Golden Boi motor
This motor is pretty big though, might not even fit in my grip, i have a lancer Gen2 and still have the stock motor, but before i do anything else to my rifle i need to get a new battery, and prob gonna get a new stock, getting a 11.1 3000mah titan battery, and a PTS Eps stock
@@OctaneGroup lancers don't suck, you can buy a Lance for 180 and upgrade for 200, bam you have equivalent to a $1500 gun EDIT: 9MONTHS LATER, VERY WRONG ABOUT THIS, I got my lancer for $120, I got lucky with the qc, they are better now with their gen 3s, I have a gen 2 though, but it is definitely a better option to go with a gen3 lancer for $180-200 than go with a $400-500 krytac if your just going to replace all the internals anyways sooo
Hi Jake, awesome video man!!! I want to use one of these Warhead brushless motors in my build, and I was wondering witch one will be the best fit. I'm running a 12:1 SHS gears ratio with M150 Spring. Between the 3 motors (30k, 36k and 52k) witch one do you think will have the snapiest trigger response ? Will there be a big diference in the initial torque, from one to another ? I already thank you for your help! And keep up! Your content is the best!!
Oh I see Jake. The 30k will draw less power from the battery, right? Hahaha I know it sounds crazy but I forgot to mention.. It is short stroked and I was using a Chihai 32 TPA motor, the one with N52 magnets for trigger response. I set it that way to achieve the 1.5 Joule so I can have a more versatile gun that is good for indors and not bad to use in outdor games either. Do you think those Warhead brushless motors will have a similar torque to my 32 TPA Chihai motor ?... I mean, this motor is a beast
Fact: it the ultra speed 52k rpm warhead motor, can in fact rip apart our 70$ reinforced high speed gears... i recommend at least 18:1 gears and a m130 spring minimum for any of the brushless motor speeds (speaking from experience and broken stuff)

That’s abs insane bro. Such a small amp draw for what it’s doing. Do you have mags to keep up with the feeding

Amazing review and explanation of how dc motors work
Fun fact: Brushless DC motors are actually 3-phase AC motors.

Would you say the gate titan is a good enough MOSFET for this motor???
Yeah just use as little AB as possible
@@TheRealDealAirsoft would you say the 36000rpm would just be better to get?
Have you tried these with a Gate Aster/Titan yet? Or a Perun? Just curious how these are with the common aftermarket ETU's
Tried them with all of the above and all of the above work. But stay away from aster. Aster is doo doo

Why on earth are you running an m150 spring on 12:1. For single sector what are you trying to have 550 FPS
All motors will have similar torque really the only difference is rpm but the 30 k would be most efficient
