That's really interesting about the red axanthic with pied. You get a similar thing with spider pied.

When a piedbald sheds does it form a new pattern ? For instance does the amount of white increase or decrease?
@@jamescharles8663 I know this answer is a little late, but no the pattern never changes from the day they hatch. What shedding will do is make the colors brighter and the skin overall more vinrant.

No, I stopped in late February. I should get eggs any day now!
Do you have any recommendations for people to help identify morphs? I got a snake from Craigslist and people on Facebook and Reddit had a bunch of different answers for what they thought. Is there a resource to help identify what morphs he has?
You could try proving it out, maybe cross with a gene where you know for sure what the combo looks like, some are really tough to know for sure.

What racks do you recommend TGR closed down due to the Coronavirus
@Tom D Chris would more than likely recommend ARS over TGR or any other rack for that matter
I like ARS because you can buy them one level at a time, or as many levels as you want. Plus they are really super heavy duty and will last a lifetime.
Hi Chris, Just wanting YOUR view. I have a Lesser Male Ball Python and want to start breeding. What would you suggest to buy and breed first, Fire or Pastel?

If you breed 2 not compatible albinos and get the double hets could you breed those double hets and get a double visual
@John Comeau well sure it’s no different than say a clown and pied double recessives can be harder to hit and take longer that’s why they tend to cost more than co doms a double recessive is quite common really people have 4 and 5 recessive gene snakes which is insane
The problem is that with some genes that are not compatible they can be very close visually, so if you do produce a visual you may not know if it's one or the other or maybe a double visual. Could get very confusing.

Yea i got a adult female caramel albino never bred 3500 grams for 200$ why lol the breeder at the expo said she didnt breed her because its a double recessive lol no its not but she wouldnt listen so i bought it anyway

Tony Vaccaro no she diffidently should not be
I've only had one female that ate right away, she ate the day after she laid, but that's really unusual. I'd change out the bedding, clean and disinfect the enclosure, maybe give the snake a bath in warm 85F water. That might help her snap out of it and feed.
