@scottgarbo1288 Yup! Judge Wapner loved to tell the story about him dating a "Judy Turner," who changed her name to Lana, when she got into the movies. "Then, she gave me the brush," he ended, wistfully. Looking at Lana's sordid marital history, she would have been better off marrying Wapner & dumping the Hollywood losers & gangsters. Her poor daughter, Cheryl Crane, would have been much better off, too.
I always thought Lana did the stabbing. She persuaded her daughter to "take the rap," telling her that the Court "would go easy on her, because she was a minor." Pretty Lady on the outside. Not so much on the inside.
I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Miss Turner in the mid-1980s, at a Jazz Club in Hollywood. She exuded glamour and beauty. She was radiant.
Incredibly beautiful!
Classic Hollywood beauty. Where are they today?
She has got to be the model for 'Mom' iof Mom's computers in Futurama, with that balloon hair in her late years.
Imitation of Life, the Lana Turner version wasn't about her being a successful business woman... seriously, get it right.
She dated Judge Wapner!
Seriously?

She spread herself around too much,
Right 👍🏾
It was her who murdered the thug... not the daughter. Ridiculous Propaganda.
I tend to agree, however Cheryl says she did it
