Abandoned Go Kart Revival!
A go cart that was left on some pallet racking for a number of years was rescued by @JunkyardDigs and I recently. In this video we make some repairs and put it back to good use!

I'd vote for a grip & kill switch on top of your shifter. Nice toys, should be fun for all, saw the golf cart in its first runs on Kevin's, it looks a bit saner now, maybe?!?! Lol! Thanx !

Need more power in the Low end, looks like it has good top end speed, maybe tweak the clutch pack or change your sprocket ratio, and MORE Carburetor 😁🤠✌

Get a big metal tray to slide under what you are working on to catch parts or some of that cheap indoor outdoor carpet.
I just remembered have a unique motor sitting in my garage that might make for a very interesting go-kart. If you guys figure out what cost on a kit/frame would be, I'd be curious if I could afford to get ahold of one for a very different go kart.
We will be selling these as kits minus a motor. We are still in the process of sourcing some suppliers but I’ll definitely be posting about it once we get rolling with it all!

You should put some cross piping on that roll cage so that when it rolls over the cage doesn’t fold sideways on you.
Plan is to get some x bracing on the back and the top, we kind of ran out of time and had to get a video out on it. Still a lot to do between the cage, radiator, brakes, shifter, ignition, tires, safety equipment lol

The axle may be flexing and loosening the chain.

Yep its wrong chain and your first ride seemed like it was lacking in power
First ride fuel pump wasn’t working well at all so it hardly had any fuel. It still needs the clogged air filter cleaned out and some float adjustment yet and I think it’ll clean up a bit more! Probably wouldn’t hurt to check valve lash and lubricate the clutch as well lol

We all understand "go carts" are fun... But unless it's a fire breathing "MOTHER" of a go cart, I would focus my time on "Adult" projects if I were you, but I'm not you, so I'm sorry, just sayin'. Still cool as hell though.
