If you care about winning the game in commander, statistics say that even if all decks are even power you're gonna win 25% of the time. Just focus on doing the funny play and building a fun deck
if all the decks are evenly powered but you play worse. Then you wont win 25% of the games. If you build a "Fun" deck that is not well made, doenst have removal, interaction or enough card draw and you still win 25% of the games even when you are not trying to, your deck is overpowered.
As I said in my other comment. I couldn't disagree more with people who believe that trying to win or playing strategically is inherihitly wrong and against the spirit of commander. Given that I would like to see a video where you discuss what are the rules 0 you run to make the games more fun.
Unless this is CEDH, you shouldn't care about winning. What you should care about is that your deck functions and that it isn't boring. Winning puts too much emphasize on ending the game. Stop that.
Im so tired of this "Casual" you shouldt play to win. The most horrific and boring games i ever had, have been against these people. Who for some reason, tend to be the ones running the most overpowered cards and hiding behind their deck being badly build to escuse their i win one card. Or their bad threat assesement leading to a one sided game. To me there isnt something more fun than try to strategizise and find your way out of complicated situations. I like mid powered causal because it allows for the most amount of cards and strategies to be viable.
#4, not knowing how your own cards work. I've messed up a lot of games by forgetting trigger effects, etc.
Man, this is very helpful for a beginner like me to be better on the game
FYI, you can’t Mutate Illuna onto the Taurean Mauler
Good eye
really interesting, thank you !

#4 Caring way too much about winning in a fun, casual format
