Hi, new subscriber here. You make us think; thanks for that! A sweet video would be, for example, upgrading this Jump Scare precon by only using Duskmourn (its own set) cards. Same with other precons such as Family Matters with only Bloomburrow cards, etc. Much appreciated 👏
Great video! These are all really good strategies for this deck. I’ve really been enjoying playing with it. One super small correction. Manifest only lets you flip creature cards not permanents, so when you advise to place the land instead of the sorcery, you wouldn’t actually be able to flip that over at all, it would be stuck as a manifest.
Ohhhhh, you are correct and that is something I completely missed. That’s one more thing I’ll add to the list of things you taught me about this deck. Thank you!
Bought this precon bexsuse i pulled the MH3 Kozilek and this deck seemed like a perfect fit for him. It ended up being a surprisingly fun deck to play.
Just played with this deck the other day for the first time and it gets out of hand REALLY fast if no one removes Zimone from the battlefield. I absolutely annihilated my play group which surprised all of us haha. Definitely worth picking this one up!
@@AllenIsbell that one is more expensive than the others though and you'll be a target for the other players because you have a lot of "annoying" stuff that affects all players. Looking over the commanders, all of these decks seem to be producing pretty complex board states. (we also played a bunch of games with these precons yesterday). So the endless punishment precon is indeed the easiest, but it currently goes four touble the price. - The miracle enchantment deck has you constantly scry and put enchantments into play and eventually you'll have to keep track of a bunch of static effects and triggers. It might be too much for an inexperienced player. - the zimone deck is... well you saw it, but it feels like the second easiest deck of the bunch. - The black green golgari graveyard deck has a bunch of mill and you'll have to check tons of cards in your graveyard a lot so that's also a lot of reading, which could also be too much. So in my mind, if you're very intimidated... maybe just check out commanders decks from a different set. BUT hey magic is always going to be complex, I think you should go with what you think is cool in the end. IF you really dig a theme, that will help you push through any complexity. My real recommendation would probably be to get whatever you think is cool. Then watch youtube videos about how to pilot those decks (just like this excellent video here) and then play the decks by yourself without opponents. Play through the first 5-7 turns, then shuffle up and go again and do that a couple of times to get a feeling for the deck. It will make a hell of a difference if you do that as preparation instgead of just going in blind with your deck at the next game night.
Thanks so much! Got this deck as a Christmas present! Will be enjoying it for sure! Merry Christmas! 😊
Hey man, this is actually my first precon commander deck and just wanted to say thanks for the helpful advice and the content you do, keep it up man!
Being chill af while You play this helps a lot
Thanks for this! your video was so nice to follow and weirdly relaxing, love your energy! I think ill end up grabbing this one!
I enjoyed this video. I was gifted this precon and it's a new mechanic to me. I was really really frustrated with all the dread triggers and such.
these precon guides are great! :D
Great magic content and dropping truth at the end?? Respect brother 🫡

That’s an interesting idea Casey,
I’ll make one at one point and see how well it does
@GSIron much appreciated, and thanks again for the helpful and entertaining MTG content 💯

Yes you are correct but I was referring to Zimone’s ability to flip permanents if two lands are put into play not the ability of the manifest mechanic

Gotta love the health advice

Yes the timing is important. But there are only a few cards that will let me put 2 lands on an opponents turn
Upgrade it by adding more
Precon would be broken otherwise
I built her she is amazing, protect her at all cost. Zimone is the fire for the steam engine on the pain train!
I love your message ❤
A question: does Zimones ability trigger 2 times at 3:45 since we put 2 lands on the battlefield?
Yes, first manifest dread and then flip a permanent
ty very much
Key #5 best one
Thanks for the video. Can I ask which playmat that is in the video, and where you got it?
I bought it on the ultra pro online store, but you can find it on google under Glissa Playmat
I may try to join the discounted tournament it sounds fun and I’d get to play more

Are any one of the Duskmourn precon commander decks easier to play than the rest? Asking for a beginner...
I would say its the endless punishment precon
@@GSIron Thanks! I'll give that one a go.

Can Zimone cheat big Enchantments and Artifacts into play by just flipping them face-up, when her landfall ability triggers?
Yes
Nice!
