Southern Region did not use the same headcodes as the rest of BR. S R headcodes showed the route not the class of the train. That, Incidentally, is why S R locos had an extra 2 lamp irons.

The buses should be a lighter green, with "Hants & Dorset" emblazoned in cream lettering, along both sides.
