Corelli no era tenor lírico Plácido Domingo Sí!..... además la voz de Domingo era más bella de timbre y Corelli era otra cosa......

A great baritone forced into tenor roles. I suppose the power made him a wonderful helden-tenor, but in lyric roles I prefer a Di Stefano or a Florez.

Annemarie Fleming never a baritone. Just a gorgeous tenor with a very slightly incomplete technique, who sang some roles that were too big for him. Listen to how he slightly squeezes many syllables. Where a more perfect technique would not have had those tiny breaks in the line

How could anyone complain about this glorious singing. Everyone has his or her individual characteristics. Nothing to criticize just be spellbound by this gorgeous voice.
