The Bended Knee harmony...💞 MH unexpectedly and personally presenting Tank with the album plaque was a moment. And a moment recognized and appreciated by his peer. 👏🏾

It’s literally Tank and these songs for me 🤣🤣 my favorite Immature songs growing up was Constantly, Never Lie, Lovers Groove, Extra Extra….I was a fan of course….this was so good!
That's crazy how many hits Tank and J wrote, and background vocals and solo and regular artist career they helped start. When Tank was on the 85 South Show I did understand what he meant.
This was absolutely nothing but amazing! I got my entire life through this episode. I am 40 so I grew up with MH. Till this day, Naked is still my song. B2M is still my favorite group and I love me some Wanya! One man and Slowdown will forever be in my playlist and this pod cast is and will be one of the best thing ever created all things RNB!
I have to add when Marques was talking about You Got Served and the names of the characters and who the movie was actually meant for made me tear up. I remember how Honey was also supposed to be for Aaliyah. I know Ginuwine real name is Elgin I didn't pay that close attention. I always wanted to see Aaliyah and Ginuwine do a dance movie.
MH always has been one of my favorite singers right along with O and the rest of the group members. Wish it wasn’t so much bad energy and crazy accusations surrounding them because they made some impactful music on my generation.
I'd love to see Teddy Riley on here. Not only did he produce a lot of great artists like MJ, Janet, Whitney, ect but he also did some great projects as well - Guy, BlackSTREET.
Add Keith Sweat, Doug E. Fresh/Slick Rick, Kool Moe Dee, Hi Five, Heavy D and some others I can’t think of at the moment. Teddy Riley definitely has a Resume in the Production game
Another great interview for the books! MH had that falsetto ready. On a side note I really hope Chris Brown is hearing about all the positive energy and respect his peers have for him. In a sea of negativity sometimes the positive gets lost.
I’m at work watching this and when J. Valentine told the story about him taking the girls to the scream tour was so hilarious. I’m at my desk drinking my water and as he telling the story I almost spit my water out because of me laughing so hard so I had to turn my head so my coworker next to me wouldn’t see me🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I so loved watching this interview with all of you. Truly amazing and funny.
JUST AS I EXPECTED ‼️ MARQUES HOUSTON IS PHENOMENAL‼️. HE LOOKS GOOD‼️ SOUNDS GOOD‼️And IS DOWN TO EARTH GOOD‼️ I loved him giving Tank his flowers! Yes! Yes! tear it up at Barclays! I will be watching NO WAY OUT and SUPPORTING ALL THE MOVIES MH DOES! I WISH HIM MUCH CONTINUED HUMBLE SUCCESS‼️✝️🙏🏿👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💥💥💥💯🥰🥳🥳🥳
I’m a DC native, and I really do appreciate the radio stations here and Chris Stokes for bringing immature to DC often. I enjoyed every bit of their concerts. I almost wrote him to thank him! Lol
What's crazy to me is to hear him refer to their very first album as a flop. I was in Belgium on an army base at the time when that came out (as well as Bebe's Kids). It was the only album they had at the PX (iykyk) that had kids my age that looked like me and I was so excited. If it wasn't for that first album, I would have never became a huge Immature fan. I love this podcast for those reasons. This pieced together so many portions of my musical childhood.
I want them to interview Jason Weaver. I would love to hear the story behind his music journey
Yes ,definitely need that
Love Jason Weaver. Definitely would love to see that happen
Did you see him on The 85 South Show?
You are so right ! I would love to hear his story too….
I would love for him to be on here
Tank we need Avant on the show. You & Avant have always been the underdogs in R & B music. Avant fans want to hear from him and what better way then on your podcast. Come on Tank bring on Avant...pretty please 😁
That's what I've been saying, Avant needs more recognition, that man is talented as hell
Let’s not forget Jaheim
YES! I’ve been thinking this!!!! 👏👏👏
Yessss
That's what I said. I want Avant on the show 😊
If Joe don't get on this show imma lose my mind. That man is the epitome of R&B. Every lyric... Every run.. Every riff. Every damn album
You know it 🔥 that mans vocals are severely underrated and have been for a very long time. Nothin but classics! Loved his chemistry with Tim & Bob especially. Absolute FIRE! An shawn stockman needs to be on here too, along with Nate & Wanya.

It makes so much sense. Tank is The BLUEPRINT.

That was a really good moment! Brothers showing respect, appreciation and love for one another!!
I watched the harmony at least 20x…
That was truly beautiful, like Marques said its sad that this business now hardly want to give credit to the greats.
Does anyone else listen to all the songs that Tank and J.Valentine have vocals on and try to pin point their voices…it’s like a game for me😂🥰
I thought I was the only one that did this 🤣🤣

I can’t get over that nobody has mentioned MH being 41. He still looks just as young as Tank said. I love it
J Valentine is hilarious 😂..Great dynamic! Great Podcast!
Love me some Teddy.
Another great interview for the books! MH had that falsetto ready. On a side note I really hope Chris Brown is hearing about all the positive energy and respect his peers have for him. In a sea of negativity sometimes the positive gets lost.
Great interview. Great content. Great guest. Great host. Great guest. The authority of all things R&B. What’s not to like.
😂😂😂Tank said “i didn’t even know to lie to girls” 😭💀
Tank is really a heavy hitter my boy sang background vocals and wrote half my playlist ❤😂
JUST AS I EXPECTED ‼️ MARQUES HOUSTON IS PHENOMENAL‼️. HE LOOKS GOOD‼️ SOUNDS GOOD‼️And IS DOWN TO EARTH GOOD‼️ I loved him giving Tank his flowers! Yes! Yes! tear it up at Barclays! That Naked album was on heavy rotation in my CD player. Great album ❤
Perfect album from start to finish
