I jus told my wife both stories of God moving a letter and God in the Neighborhood that shit brought me to tears telling my wife because I move by faith 🙏🏽
Rico Love asking “ Where did I go wrong?” was the most refreshing and therapeutic thing I’ve heard in a long time. This also speaks to Tank and J being a safe place. You can’t ask everyone this question.
Facts when he 1st dropped, I really liked his music, and I thought he was super conceited an cocky. Didn't know he produced all those song. I'm not mad at him. 👏🏾
Maan he is just DIFFERENT, this was in inspiration on a highest level, Tank and J are on such a roll right now, all of these interviews have been giving me so much insight and life in the Biz, Love every second of it✊🏾✊🏾
Y'all should create an R&B Money Playlist every week or once a month.. Tank and JVal favorite joints. That would be 🔥!!! I would listen to it all day everyday!!!
1:34:12 Listened on Spotify…only came to the UA-cam video to see this with my own eyes…I watched it like 10 times!!!!!! Whew! Can we get a J Valentine interview…please please pretty please guys!!!!!
It is something about listening to real black men speaking, respecting and flowering each other. This R&B Money Podcast was so needed for our culture. Must Respect and Love to Bay Area J. Valentine and Tank. 🌹🌹🌹
People sleep on Rico Love he's a hell of a Songwriter this is why I love R&B Money Podcast they interview great artists and icons that school they speak facts and keep it truthful salute
I love the back stories! People think it’s just the singers that are behind the songs and it’s the songwriters, producers and engineers that are the geniuses! Kept it coming R&B Money!
I remember Terius Nash(The Dream) when he was born. I loved his mother Revas dearly. They were our neighbors along with his grandmother Ms Eddie Bell & uncle Eugene. I think his grandpa Mac died before he was born. He was a very sweet baby. His mom did hair. So I would watch him while she pressed & curled hair. I miss his mother. They later moved to Georgia. I cried because she helped protected me from being abused by my mom’s sorry azz husband. She let me hang out with her & Terius until my momma came home from work. As Rico said, you never know which alphabet gone is going to use or remove to bless you. I’m grateful for the R & B Money podcast. These memories were painful but I have power to manifest my dreams of greatness, too.
"When God blesses my neighbor, I know He's in the neighborhood!" COME ON NOW!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I missed the premiere of this video, but I wasn't gonna miss the replay! AWESOME JOB AS ALWAYS!! 💖💖💖💖
This is one of the best interviews Rico love has done. You can tell this is brothers talking bout life and dropping gems and giving motivation. This a story of anything is possible just put mind to it and be ready for the diversity of your gifts.
Milwaukee is in the building!!!! "God just moved a letter" I cant't thank the both of you enough for blessing us with these stories from such phenomenal creatives! " A thief steals a genius borrows"
Now that I've finished this vid... Just sharing that Rico Love was such an amazing guest. I already loved his music and I LOVED "They Don't Know" so much!!!!! So vibe-y. I was wondering why he didn't keep going so I'm glad y'all gave him feedback on that portion bc some of us WERE waiting, Love. Beautiful to hear about his overall journey. So many gems dropped, hard to recap them all but that note about realizing you don't need the "things" bc it's really YOU that has all the value?!! That'll PREACH. He was READY w/ his Top 5!!!!! I love to see it. He also had some of the best Bey stories I've heard f/ industry people. Cutting Sweet Dreams that fast?!!!! Chile. Maybe I forgot it, but I feel like I didn't know that. And the one about her calling him to the studio? We hear A LOT of stories about her humility (I'm "lucky" to have a 1-degree separation so I'm actually confident they're true vs. just hoping they are). But it's dope to hear a story about Beyoncé knowing she's Beyoncé. Love that he was able to take MaDukes to the studio w/ him too. I hope y'all really do the R&B Money x Grammy situation. That sounds so fire and needed. 💕
I absolutely love this podcast. As a 30 year old woman who fell in love with R&B from day one. This podcast and the many conversations just hit every sweet spot in my heart. These segments remind me of the many nights falling asleep in the back of my parents car dozing off to the late sessions of Keith Sweat, Tank, MJ, Anita Baker, Tyrese and the many jams played on Magic 102.1 with my boy Marco Spoon. Ah man I appreciate those times so much. I've been able to really and truly fall in love with art that is R&B
Just commenting bc I love this podcast. I usually don't have a guest "request" bc I enjoy the people you bring on your own - I usually know of them or thoroughly enjoy learning about someone new. But everyone seems to have a Jagged Edge story somehow some way. They'd be great guests. I do still listen to them like they just dropped an album yesterday, so I know I'm prob biased but the stories keep leading there so 💕
Tank & J!!!! Another One!!!! I adore ya'll and The RnB Money Podcast- thank ya'll. My humble artist request - Raphael Saddiq, Maxwell, Teddy Riley, RL of Next, Stuart Matthewman and Alicia Keys. I'm so inspired - I wanna sing/songwrite.
I love that we get the back story on how our favorite songs were put together. The connections, etc. It gives me the feeling I had when I finally saw the credits for Stevie Wonder’s “All I Do” and saw that MJ, Eddie Levert and Betty Wright sang the backgrounds and now I can’t unhear their voices individually. Imagine that session! Love what y’all are doing here! ❤
I'VE L.I.T.E.R.A.L.Y BEEN WATCHING EPISODES OF THIS PODCAST ALL. DAY. LONG.👍🏿💜💜💜💜❤️💜💜💜💜 THIS IS 1 OF THE BEST "CULTURAL TOOLS" WE HAVE , AS IT PERTAINS TO THE GENRE OF R& B MUSIC.❤❤❤🥰
Always always LOVE these episodes… HOWEVER… Rico’s episode was well worth every 123 minutes and 36 seconds… this man spoke from his heart, his humbleness, truth and KNOWLEDGE dropped at the end on the Grammys… SHEEEEEEESH!!!
Another great episode. Rico’ s breakdown about the Grammy’s is “Clutch”! He not only explained how it works but called out other artist to participate in the process. ❤💐💐
R&B Money needs to manage Rico Love as a recording artist. Their diagnosis of what went wrong with him after "They Don't Know" was honest and spot-on, and I believe that they actually get him to where he needs to be as a recording artist.
Another great episode very entertaining.. My favorite part of the show was when Rico said, "When God bless my neighbor; I know he in the neighborhood"... 🙌🏽💯😂
This podcast is the first thing I’ve been passionate about music wise in a while. What you guys are doing is so inspiring and insightful for young artists and even just fans. Y’all are invaluable ! Much love to the RNB Money podcast 🧡🧡
It was amazing to be a fly on the wall listening to men genuinely give each other advice and talk through personal ish. Can’t wait to see how Rico moves forward w/all the kinks worked out. ❤ For that alone, this is my favorite interview to date! Keep it coming R&B universe!

This episode was phenomenal. I'm speechless, absolutely incredible.
As soon as this interview was announced, i already knew it was gonna be epic...and it didn't disappoint! Rico Love has stories and gems for days! Love this dude!

And loves to see us all win!
This brother was in a flow in this episode!! "The gift is in you and the things that you create and put into this world is what makes room for you." Well come on now!!! This podcast is marvelous!

I’ve heard that quote before & it’s a beautiful one.
I had to write it down as a visual reminder 🙏🏾
Rico Love asking “ Where did I go wrong?” was the most refreshing and therapeutic thing I’ve heard in a long time. This also speaks to Tank and J being a safe place. You can’t ask everyone this question.
