You really believe Dylan is that literal?
But isn't that typical of women? They look for someone to LOVE THEM -- not someone TO LOVE. Ever the center of their own self-regard, and had better be the same for everyone else, especially men.
@@lindaredlick8821 yeah -- women do set the rules -- then tell the big lie that imposing those rules on men means women are oppressed.
This is stunning. I have never heard this before in all my years of Vanism and Dylanism. I am stoked, its better than Bob's I reckon
Xer Yarrum Ha! "vanism and dylanism"
Xer Yarrum and yes it's AMAZING
true dat
Love them both but Van is streets ahead.
There's only one version that comes close to the creator, not the imitator of this song, and its Jimi Hendrix. Dylan created this song, others imitated what Dylan's mind created. Yes, van's version is exceptional, Hendrix's version is special, but it cannot ever be denied Dylan is the creator, and innovator, without Dylan the two impersonators would have no song to sing. We wouldn't be having this conversation. Period.
Oh I love Van Morrison💚 just the sweetest song everX
One of very, very few who could do Mr. Dylan's song....I like that he did his own way......
Van and his soulful way brought me and not boasting, many a beautiful and loving female friend dancing closely and in the mood for kissing, hugging and squeezing. It was wonderful for the present company on those dimly lit week end moments. K
He is the best ever saw him in concert in Arizona omg it was awesome he sounds great his band omg so so good
We will always love this beautiful, loving song..
Took me a long time to really discover Van Morrison - a thanks goes to my old and lost friend JS.
I have never heard this and I thought I heard everything he'd done. Great cover.
YES!!
This song was a highlight from one of the first bootleg albums I ever bought in the late '70s.
@@goneatlast I bet Van The Man or Belfast Cowboy. I had each on one cassette so never knew which was which but sadly the tape has gone but who knows where...
I was just thinking that too.....I have (I thought) every album he ever did....this is new to me....
@@lindahinzman4145my main memory was wonderfully flowing guitars but also a great Just Like A Woman, a version of Madame George and surprisingly the Italian / Dean Martin song Buena Sera. I have no idea what happened to the cassette!
I grew up with the BEST MUSIC!!! Wish new music was as good! :(
Excellent version - Van the Man.
He's surely one of a kind. What are we gonna do when he's gone?
Listen to the genius of his music and raise a toast...
He will live on in all our hearts and souls...hopefully not too soon 💚
I really enjoy hearing Van Morrison sing. He deserves every success he has achieved.Congratulations!👍👏🏻😍🇧🇷
Fun Song...Like the Song....Another Song well done.
I LOVE this man!
That was brilliant The Irish blues man Van it kind of distills What you thought was Cool. And i believe you are one of the best.
Don't think his DUP pals would call him Irish :(
Van does such an amazing job with this. He puts his soul into it, and his humble intro adds to the charm. I believe he may have outdone Dylan. Just my opinion...
I agree. Its hard to sound better than the original artist but I think he did it on this tune
In my opinion...he puts his soul into everything. He certainly heals my soul
yeah, i saw them together in western washington in 1998 or so. Awesome experience.
Peter Reed I think i was there.Gorge amphitheater the town was called George, Washingtonr dylan was opener, then Joanne Mitchell.Van the man was headliner. Only time I ever got to see van live. The Belfast cowboy. Best modern musician.
@@abner1638 I was there too!
Came in to Penn square up on the Marquis of the Garden was tonight Dylan Morrison.. nyc can be so precious at times
VM reminds me of an Irish Terrier, fierce, tenacious, no compromise.
Love him for his standards too.
Great, great find. Very clean so I'm guessing not a bootleg maybe a bonus track from an Asian or European release. With all the tense stops & starts it's definitely 69-70 Caledonia Soul Orchestra. Thanks so much enjoyed immensely.
Amazing keeps you sane at your lowest.
Van Morrison's music is eclectic wide range good performer good chance
