I am enjoying your journey learning these skills. If I may make a suggestion or two. Learn to make a bow saw with your wire saw. To get started cutting it, a couple of toggles in the rings on the saw will keep them fingers happy. Dont spray bug juice while your food or water filter is exposed to overspray. Sawyers is pretty potent stuff and ingesting it might make this video go a different way. Use the rings on the wire saw for trap triggers and mechanical advantages. I will let you research that. Before bushcraft was even a thing, we did field craft in the military. I learned from native American father in the 70's. Keep learning my friend. You are doing more than most , just doing it. Well done

somehow I missed viewing this one? I usually watch on the T.V. so I don't always comment until maybe later. It is Interesting you doing the tough challenge.
Nice that you talk about even your clothing choices. I thought you could do something in a video or two about the combination of your pants that you use in the field. the makers, features, cloth/ materials, what practical features you like in each and dont care for. maybe where you picked them up for and how much. including military surplus and civilian repo's/knock offs. I imagine some breath more but some may be better in the colder season coming. Just an idea ? thanks - P.C. scout.

yeh that's 🙂not real para cord, you could modify your kit later with a section of real para cord and a bit of that 15-20 Lb. spider wire fishing line. that what ide do.

Very good idea, these first tactical pants im wearing are definitely going to be my go to for most of this winter hunting and camping season. But I will touch on some of the other pants options I use. Cause I have had some epic pants fails haha

I wonder about some of those commercial survival kits. Not many individuals actually show one in use.
Honest opinion is noted and appreciated.

Well this wasn't an awful overnighter I've got some more commercial survival kits I'm going to be testing out including a british military special forces Airmen Kit

Would like to see the military survival kit tested out, still have the o d green waterproof match container case. It has held up for I don't know how long now.
I doubt that they include that anymore in any of the new survival kits. No P-38 can opener either , remember Bill Clinton did not know what a P-38 was. He had to ask a Homeless Vet. Try to find the metal box survival kit at least it's military issue and went to a survival vest.
