So instead of running the power and ground wire all the way up to the engine compartment can I just tie it into my reverse lights at the back of the truck so it only has power when the truck is in revers and this way I don't have wires running up the frame thanks
Wow glad I seen this comment I was goingto pull the plug since it was edge but now I see this screw that I’m gonna figure out how to install another cam to the cts3
I debated over getting one of these. My daughter got me one for Christmas/birthday. Just installed it last week. Works fine. Yes, the picture quality could be a bit better. I have been updating my CTS3 regularly. Matter of fact, I updated the same day as my install. Mine is on a Chevrolet and the tag goes down into the bumper. Going to put a couple of spacers on the top for better camera adjustment and less cable pinch. Hooked mine up to the trailer reverse lights. As soon as I put the truck in reverse the display flickers and the camera comes on. No need to press the camera button. Put the truck in D and gauges come back. Is it worth the price??? Maybe not, but it is working for me. Just my $0.02 worth.
@@vadrifter3200 mine works flawlessly in reverse but the qualiity is like an old phone camera. Just feel it wasn't worth $200. I bought a $30 camera which is 10x better quality.
I would have enjoyed the “interaction “ with the ground hog..lol
I enjoy the videos I need to drive up I-64 to see y’all .
Didn't show the camera angle adjustment!
You really didn’t show connecting the license frame to the bumper. Did you put nuts on in the back?
Will it work on a manual trans ford 7.3 ?
Why wouldn’t it?

Yes, I do not see why that wouldn’t work as well.
Thank you
So is everything you need in the package when you get it in the box? So just run wires and good to go on any truck?
Jeremy
How'd you run wire to inside of cab?
Just installed this on my CTS3. Horrible... $200 and it lags like it's only 10 fps. Way over priced. Performs like I expect a $20 camera would.

@@CHRIS_NYC other cameras will work on the cts3? Will I need the edge wiring harness or will other aftermarket wiring work?
@@oDphanatic79 I took the camera off the edge completely. I bought one from Amazon and plugged it into the back of my Atoto head unit
