Not really, compare a basic insert for Jordan and it will be at least 5 times the price of a Griffey. Even a basic Topps Gold parallel from 1992-1994 will sell for a lot more than a Griffey. Just because they aren’t graded doesn’t mean there aren’t a ton more Griffey cards as the presses were cranked for baseball. Plus Griffey cards come out of a lot cheaper boxes then Jordan’s.
He would be if he would have stayed healthy and broken Hank Aaron’s record like everyone had predicted. Like I said there were a ton more baseball products made in the 90’s compared to Baseball and the boxes that the inserts were in are a lot cheaper than basketball.
Hands down, my favorite youtube channel. Just love the content. Baseball Card, Investor, and Dealer is a close 2nd but just really enjoy your consistent material. Thanks for the entertainment.
I bought a case of Top Loaders black rimmed, from BCW and they are great, but some were bowed and I couldn't use them because the cards would bow, what use can I do with bowed top loaders?
Sorry for your loss.. I lost everyone, I loved also... Mom, Dad, brother and best friend 😢. These videos help me also. I pray 🙏 GOD will heal your feelings, Matthew... GOD bless you 🙏
Thanks for doing this! I have a ton of cards from 1984 through 2002. Went through some lately because of your vid’s and have found many of the cards you list. Now I have to send the best ones into PSA.
Here's the kicker. ANY, I MEAN ANY card from early 80's to early 90's is gonna fetch higher prices in PSA 10- BUT one better know it's gonna grade a 10 because of fees PLUS then you GOTTA hope it sells. So it's a DOUBLE WAMMY and risky
People still aren't 👍and not subscribed!?! How lame you go all out to make this content timely educational and entertaining. People don't appreciate 😒 all the time and effort you spend to be the go to spot for this content. It's upsetting to me.
ive been collecting since 1976 yhis gradung system is stupid. its made for the company to make momey. no kid can affird to get cards graded. it took the fun away from collecting. very disappointed.
Nobody is pointing a gun to your head to grade cards. Every collector has to always look at the investment side whether they like it or not. High grade cards are always in demand and vintage is no different.
@@threewheeler624 Not only can kids not afford to get their cards graded , they can't afford to buy most of the graded cards that are out there as it is .. Yeah sadly the day's of 47 cents for a pack of 1990 score are long gone ..
Ken Griffey Jr., Don Mattingly and Kirby Puckett are some of my favorites.
Griffey PSA 10s sell just as high as Jordans, safe to say the Kid owns Modern BB

@@carolinatarheels7903 sounds like Griffey is undervalued then.

Thank you for another great video. Have a great weekend.
Love the set pickup in binder for just $500 .

I was on the fence for sending in some jr’s, I’ve seen the light😎‼️
The 35 sticker boxes of 1984 Topps stickers came in sheets so you would have to hand cut the Mattingly/Tellman sticker.

The Griffey Next Generation Electric Diamond was not inserted into packs. You could only get the card via an exchange card for the whole set.
Thank you! I will make a correction note of that in my next video as I missed that.
Thank you. These are always very informative.
Great work as always ……
How did the pull a 10 out of a granola bars box!! That is crazy! I remember getting them . Loose and flopping around the box.
There was an offer to buy the complete set as a send in offer. Pretty standard for food issues during the 80’s.
@@carolinatarheels7903 I don't remember that offer but that makes a lot more since!! Cuz my ripken is in like PSA 2 shape !! Jajajaja
are there any ken griffey jr cards?

Griffey rules the 90
Love the videos
I actually have a few of these. I collected cards for about 10 years when Iwas a kid back in the 80's.
That BGS Pristine score Griffey centering on the back is OC and it got a 10? Ok
Great to see all the Griffey JR cards doing so well it's almost all JR cards
Great content as always
Tom Tellman can always say that his rookie sticker is worth $1125
More perfect Mattingly's
I think that they like to be called African American lights?
What do you mean by "Pop of..." Im new to this
Pop of the morning mate that’s what it means
Pop is referring to the amount of times the card has been graded in, that particular grade

@@tubenachos you missing the point youngster. Its stupid! period. to make it sound like PSA is the way to go. bunch of idiots
The grading companies should have reduced fees or even specials for children, it may reignite the hobby.

I have more than 300 Refractors so far. I have 32 Ken Griffey Jr's. I'm going through 3 more boxes and bags that are filled with them.
