That is a nice little village and a market town and a busy road and lovely building with flowers in baskets and nice places for food and drink and stay and I bet you was very hot and the the river is nice and cool and the train station is near by and the farm near by as well thanks Neil

Thank you for taking me down memory lane. I lived in Northallerton and after leaving school in 1970 I worked for a short time on the outside of Bedale (having to cycle early in the morning and late afternoon to get to and from work) at an Egg Hatchery just up the road from where you stopped filming. Have been back to Bedale just a few times since then, the last time was 2014.
I was in Yorkshire Dales for first time in May. Beadale was a favourite. ❤- Frances

If you had walked further down the beck you would have com across Bedale Harbour - always worth a look. Also would have been nice to see the train station itself, not just the line. Great film though as usual. Nice to see my hometown on one of your walks.

Is there anything, to your knowledge, in Leech House ? It’s tiny, when you mentioned it I thought that tiny building/folly was in the grounds of something grand. Does look a very picturesque place. Great video, thank you, an insight again in to somewhere I’ve never been
