40:15 my husband & I didn’t have a baby for years and were asked relentlessly about kids. I finally started responding “I think we’re using the wrong hole for that 🤔” …turning the shock and discomfort back on them felt ✨fabulous ✨
if the story about the guy with two months to live isn’t made up by the person who wrote it in i am 99% sure that the guy is making it up to manipulate her. she never actually visited him in the hospital right? the way he escalates things every time she pulls away is very suspicious. something similar happened to my friend, a guy she knew in college pretended to have terminal cancer so that girls would pity him and hook up with him. not for nothing, this guy was also religious and supposed to be waiting until marriage but used his “illness” as a loophole to convince girls to go against their religious beliefs. maybe im projecting but if the girl who wrote in is reading this i would try to find 100% proof that he is telling the truth and either way it’s a super red flag that he wants to spend his “last two months” with someone he barely knows. using his medical issues as a way to persuade you to stay isn’t fair regardless of how difficult his situation is.
You’re so right about processed & unhealthy food being shoved in our face 24/7. I hate when ppl from other countries crap on the American diet & look down on us. Marketing & the accessibility of unhealthy food is such a problem here. And when you are raised eating these kinds of foods, you crave them & love them. It’s really hard to break out of the habits & find healthy, homemade food when you live a busy, active lifestyle. I think most of us can agree that we wish we just didn’t crave sugar, processed & fast food. That would be great! Good for you if you don’t have to deal with that struggle. 😅
I just recently found out I have gestational diabetes, and this episode talking about nutrition and what a struggle it all is to maintain a healthy diet came right when I needed it- seriously just stumbled upon it after leaving my first appointment with the nutritionist. Love you ladies
my husband and i are the same with the sweet treats lol i stuff dates with crunchy pb, drizzle with melted hu dark chocolate nibs, and top with coconut flakes!! we keep them stocked in our fridge and i crave the chewy texture alone hahah
Chelsey!!!! I think a big reason we crave sweet treat at night can be not enough nutrient dense food throughout the day. I’ve heard if you add more protein/fat/fiber and even calories to your regular meals that craving will lessen. Haven’t been successful on that journey myself but maybe it’ll work for you!
thank you girls for speaking on these topics and being so open about everything. this is literally the best podcast and every time i listen to an episode i feel like im talking with my best friends ♡🫧
It just takes mental control! Then eating healthy without disordered eating is easy! I used to have anorexia and bulimia! Now a healthy unrestrictive vegan, I go in waves of being healthy and not as healthy and I love cooking.
“do i get with him the last two months of his life” had me in tears from laughing so hard HAHAHAHAHA

Chelsey try a ninja creami and make protein icecream for a late night snack! Add a few Reese’s or something to it!
