About David Wilkerson
David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

Its easy to seek God during desperate times when one has nothing to lose but times of prosperity is the true test of the believer. In fact, Pastor Wilkerson made it clear when he said prosperity will be Satan’s last ditch effort to deceive God’s children. We will be tested by it more than anything else.
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Totally agree! Habakkuk 3:17-19. Praising the Lord when things go wrong because our loving Father is in complete control!!!

I am so grateful that I stumbled upon David Wilkerson and his ministry/sermons. And thru him I found Carter Conlon, another great Preacher who speaks Truth & loves our Lord Jesus. Thank God for leaders like these good men. 🙌
He was applying a spiritual principle to the place God had called him to minister. It is the same for individuals, churches, and nations.
It comes down to the reason for prayer. Is it to get something or for a relationship with the Lord, which means He does not leave us the way we are.
I’m praying that the sparks of revival in America from the young people would bring a lasting change in lives. Not only a move of God that is here for a week, month or years only. But it will create a true hunger for the Word of God and He will uphold and sustain many many that are seeking Him. That the repentance, prayer and worship will become the standard that rises up to meet this evil age. And the study of the Word of God and the God of the Word would bring healing, restoration, and a more intimate walk with Jesus as well as being changed from glory to glory.

Pastor Wilkerson was the first real pastor that I listened to and loved after I got saved which was a little over 8 years ago , can’t wait to meet him in Heaven along with Pastor Rogers and of course my Lord and Savior 🙏🏼🙌🏼✝️😇🔥⚔️👑♥️🙋🏻♀️💯

What do the prosperity Pastor's preach to wealthy or reach people. They don't need money, they are miserable with their money without Christ so a money gospel doesn't help them.
They can have their money, I'll take my Jesus and be satisfied. Our Lord saved my life and I will thank & praise Him till the day I die.

@@c.l.j.jardell5811 Yes he was filled with the spirit. Carter Conlon was with him many years at the Times Square Church and still preaches there. He is all over u tube and sometimes l get chills because he sounds like David speaking. We do need real preachers like these. We miss you David. Like David said, we need to keep our time and our eyes on the Holy Spirit . They built a college to teach the way for others
No, Mr. Wilkersons body perished in a car crash, but He lives today with the Father and in the hearts of those willing to listen. He spoke God's LIVING Word which never changes and never ends.
