The Upper Wear from Wearhead to Eastgate about 12k, a super, fun river at this level...
The first few drops and rapid is actually Killhope Burn, and becomes the Upper Wear after 45 secs on the video

I find myself doing that driving the van in the car park buildings. I know ducking doesn't do anything but it makes me feel like I'm at least trying. Most would say very trying.

Thanks Andrew, yea indeed, I missed a good section on the vid because the camera had been knocked by a tree and was pointing skyward. That's as high as I've paddled it, not sure if it starts to wash out or gets bigger at higher flows?

Looked like a Arborist helmet and chip guard was need for all the low hanging branches, that we could hear pinging off your camera and helmet. Looks like a real blast though.

Ha ha, yea the trees and bushes are a consideration when it's that high and fast flowing
