Ali had spirit, Ali had soul and a great sense of humor. I can watch Ali all day long... Ali Ali Ali Ali Ali. There will be never one another Ali again, what a legend he was.
This is the fight that made him mythological. It was a fight he had no business winning, and through sheer force of will, he won. And he put the weight of an entire continent on his back. The bravest champion ever.
The story of Muhammad Ali is that of a man of conviction and faith who was beloved by millions. His integrity, the fact he stood for something bigger than boxing, along with his openness, sense of humor, and natural charisma, all coalesced with his ring success to make him a superstar. Books, television specials, comics, games, toys, movies, plays, video games; accolades and tributes from people like James Brown, Diana Ross, Madonna, Norman Mailer; honorary degrees from universities and the Presidential Medal of Freedom; a museum and cultural center established in his name in Louisville, Kentucky; the Olympic flame lit by his trembling hand in 96 -- Ali became, and will forever be, larger than life. Yes, boxing was the springboard to all this, but the man’s influence will continue to be about much more than sports. Muhammad Ali was, and is, the People’s Champion, and his legacy will no doubt outlive all of us.
That craziest thing about this video is that NOBODY though he actually had a chance, not even his own team. He believed and he got it done! #AliTheGreatestOfAllTimes
All Time Great Hall of Famer Muhammad Ali is the only boxer to be named Ring magazine Fighter of the Year 6 times. He was involved in more Ring Fight of the Year bouts than any other fighter and held wins over 7 other Hall of Fame inductees. Ali appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated on 38 different occasions, second only to Michael Jordan's 46. He also appeared on the cover of Time Magazine 5 times, the most of any athlete. Ali was crowned Sportsman of the Century by Sports Illustrated and was named Athlete of the Century by USA Today. Several of his fights were watched by an estimated 2 billion viewers between 1974 and 1980. Ali is the only boxer in history with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. What he did inside and outside of the ring was an historical social phenomenon and master class entertainment.
Even in his training it was obvious that Ali wasn't in his best version even though he tore himself apart in training section. However he seized notable successes
Hiçbir boksör 3,5 yıllık men cezası sonrası tekrardan dönüp Foreman gibi adamı o dönem alt edemezdi.
@@shazmasterHe looked great but it's obvious he was quicker and more athletic before, and in the case of Ali his quickness and athleticism really matters(It matters for all fighters but there are cases where fighters are better overall despite being less athletic by becoming much better technically(Lewis might be a decent example)

I remember being afraid for Ali going into the Foreman fight little did the world know rope-a-dope was the strategy gas big George out and took him out
Ollie should be remembered for what he did outside of the Ring more for what he did in the ring we never got to see Ollie and his true crime and that's something I think most people especially people who did not grow up and actively saw him fight do not realize we never got to see the true fighter Ali could have been because he was not allowed to compete That being said Ali relied heavily on his athleticism and truth be told it showed once he started slowing down how much he truly relied on it once he couldn't rely on pure athleticism anymore that's when the rope a dope became his main strategy and the unfortunately combined with the vicious punchers he faced lead to his cognitive decline and true warrior both physically and socially.

This was the best version of Ali. Cassius Clay was faster but not as experienced and not as strong as this version of Ali. This Ali has it all. This is the Ali that would beat prime Tyson.
I think boxers of ali's era could whoop any boxer in the world. The 70s was prime of boxing and is regressing since. I dont even think current boxers are technical more devoloped and even if so, they couln'd withstand the fanatism, determination, willingness to make sacrifices, and toughness of boxers from the past. Lets be onest, they got drilled, chastened at home and at school. Their lifes werent distracted by social media, compared to the kids nowadays.

The one fight Ali put his heart and soul and training into. Imagine what he could have done if he did that for every fight and still the greatest

Seeing Usyk beat Fury confirmed for me that Ali would have dominated heavyweight in the modern era
Il pugilato e iniziato con ali ..e finito con ali stesso
Should have retired after this victory. There was nothing more to prove
Wish he fought Mike Tyson
Ali would won easily..George Foreman was a way harder hitter then Mike
Ali played too much though 🙆🏾♂️
