I just love the window that everyone uses to brood about at. What a great idea for a camera shot!
"....well if he has to stay here to say hello, how long will it take him to say goodbye?" Amen Roger.
And we are off on another mystery
I love Roger's, "Well, if he has to stay here to say 'hello,' how long will it take him to say 'goodbye'?"
One of his best lines.
Janet G Roger is such a great snob.
Touche Roger !
Liz sure caved in without a fight.
Another Roger gem: "Let me narrow it down for you--will he be transient or permanent?" (15:46)
I know! Don't you just love the guy?
Could Willie Loomis be part of Jason's "gear?"
And once again Carolyn's daddy issues are on full display.
I like Roger and his little snide remarks are funny, "If he's here to say hello, how long will it take to say goodbye."
I think it's less "how long" and more "how much"?
I think you are right.....her dead husband IS in the cellar
OH! LAWRD! Carolyn has a torch for a new older flame(smile)@9:00
Gives me hope
Put him in one of the closed off rooms - as far from the lived-in areas as possible.
But, he wants the best room.Too bad David didn't take him into one of those closed off rooms and left him there like he did with Vicky. Only not come back to get him. Only he would have probably come back as another Collinswood ghost and become a pest.
What is it Carolyn does all day when she isn't chatting in the drawing room? She doesn't work, has no hobbies save running after older men who want to use her, she doesn't seem to have any friends. It's baffling.
Apparently, education isn't that important to the Collins. You'd think she'd be at Harvad U. getting her MRS degree.
Money for your business to be in the cellar Jason
The cottage should be permanently locked. Nothing good comes of people who live there.
So why not put him in the cottage? Matthew and Laura no longer have any use for it! :D
+atlantic 11561 He might have to put in for a fresh supply of firewood though!
Good one, Thomas Leary!
Someone else Carolyn will want to bed! Poor girl!!!!
HMMMM i wonder if he helped liz kill her husband???
kenda ellsworth Time will tell. But I will not tell , you see I know what happens.
kenda ellsworth Geesh, Carolyn! All of you just barely managed to get rid of Laura, and you are so eager to welcome a new house guest?
Jason's pushy, bossy and definitely trouble
Joan Bennett is such a beautiful woman at this age. She must have been truly stunning in her younger years.
She's a natural blonde, actually. Her early movies show that (late 20s early 30s). I think she began dying it in the mid-30s.
I'd like to wipe the smile off Jason's face permanently.
Right? It's so creepy in a funny sort of way. I think I'm going to like him
The locked room, where Liz keeps the stash of hashish.
OK! What's the dark Secret here.
I saw the last two episodes of this part of the story. So, I know how it turns out, but it will be interesting to see the ones that lead up to it. Too bad Roger and Liz don't tell each other their secrets.
Dark Shadows is so much better without the last brand of supernatural storyline. This is more real and believable and deliciously entertaining watching a classy dame like Liz having to deal with a scumbag she can't get rid of.
I think I agree with you on that. I've only seen a few of the supernatural ones later on. That got me interested in watching it from the very beginning. I wish they would have kept it this way instead. Laura was weird enough, but it was interesting.
Jason con man!
