It's all about availability and yashio factory parts aren't that easily to get in the states and they're also expensive.

Being on the spot like that, I'd be anxious too. Even if I were a much better driver than I am. Putting it sideways in such a tight lot with obstacles all over is way out of most people's comfort zone, when you think about it. It's just not something many people really do very often.

That manifold got like that because the crank isn't venting out properly. The crank pressure is forcing oil up through the pistons and making it burn hotter. I did the same with a vehicle of mine and it kept popping the dipstick as well. You need a catch can with some venting
