I hope you guys enjoy! I've played this thing the whole week! Trials, Dungeons you name it and it was keeping up with some high damage dealers! While still remaining stupidly tanky!
Omg I literally tried this a yesterday! It’s so fun! Love corpseburster finally a set that actually feels tailor made for a class that is both fun and pretty powerful
Today im finished to farm the 2 Class Sets from Necro... And i searched a build like yours. Thanks a lot that looks so good to play. I would try it! Keep up your good work!
I've been running CB bow and 2h variants since I got my hands on it (farming IA is a pain tho), and it is soooo much fun and also so perfectly fits the class, I can't believe they did smth so nice for a necro! As it's a crit build, I'd swap caltrops for barbed trap to get minor force. And there are some possible adjustments to scribing skills (e.g. class script within ulfsild's), but it's less important. Great video, ggs :D
@@Dr_Y_Doodle I’m so glad they did too! We get minor force from velothi so don’t need trap, though I did consider it for FG passives. Didn’t feel worth it though. As for the class script I do talk about it in the video, if it went on a spammable it would be perfect due to all the corpses but without I felt that other signatures outweighed it. BUT, That’s just for me I think these are great suggestions and def worth trying!
Don't be afraid of trials, especially normals. I find standard heavy attack builds to be more than effective for non-hardmode's. With my sorc I can cover 3 mirrors in vLC if really need but but it will require shield weaving heavies. IMO Arcanist is even easier and quite more damage.
@@orbital78_ this correct people put a lot of stock into the difficulty of trials but reality is the content is really well balanced for different difficulties! Def worth trying!
hi, two questions considering update 44 - looks like the changed merciless charge 2h backbar would be preferable with the direct damage hits from blastbones + siphon explosions? also, what would you drop in favor of the banner bearer skill with the necro class script?
Hey Ryan! Nice video! May i ask what addon that shows between bars abilty timers top of each other? Like casting 1st bar skills and swaping to 2nd bar and shows the timer of 1st bar skills top of 2nd bar skills. Thank you for respond & build!
A question. Would inferno outperform lightning? Lightning can off balance mobs for 10% more damage with exploiter passive. And I am too lazy to farm maelstrom for inferno staff hahaha. Build looks like a lot of fun, I've never had a working necro so I really want to try this
So weird question. How much better would the n'erianeth monster helm be on a corpseburster setup? The AOE pressure and proccing every 3 seconds sounds pretty potent.
It would be pretty fun, however you’d have to drop velothi for it. To be honest on this build losing velothi would be a big loss, losing 15% to Blastbones and minor force you’d feel it I think. Def seems worth trying though! If you do, can you let me know how it goes? 🙂
I'm always interested in Necromancer builds because I love theory crafting. While I've never used anything from the Ansuul set, I am familiar with Mora Scribe's from Lucent Citadel. With Oakensoul, Mora Scribe's really packs a major punch. Reason being is what it does with buffs and critical chance. I farmed IA for weeks in order to get Corpseburster. I think the set is great with one minor / major drawback depending on who is asked. It insists on the usage of Gravelord abilities. I think this is a drawback because any ability we use that's not in the Gravelord skill line lessens the damage capabilities of Corpseburster. At the time of this writing, my build consists of the following: Valkyn Scoria head, medium, legendary - I just started using this for the extra penetration Corpseburster Mora Scribe's Oakensoul I'll give Ansuul's Torment a shot because, as I wrote, I love theory crafting. If it measures up or surpasses to what I get from Mora Scribe's, awesome. If not, it's good to know anyway. Thanks for the video RyanIsIffy, liked and sub'd 🙂
Oof i cant wait to get home n make this keep them coming bro love all these diff builds even if there not meta there diff and love that not saying this isnt meta lol just saying dont b afraid 2 experiment loved the last build excited for this one
Casual player here. I am interested 1-bar version of this build but I wonder how does maxing stamina helps when I play destro lightning staff? And also what about potions? Are they used like spells once they are off cooldown to stay buffed (healed and full on resources) or it's more situational thing when I am extremely low on HP (or other resources)?
Great questions. I do have a 1 bar build included in the vid and written guide in the description. For max stam/lightning staff. A little while ago they made changes to the way damage scales. In short it scales of the highest offensive stat. So the way skills work they scale of a high stat pool, health, mag, or stam. Or weapon or spell damage. This means which ever is highest is what the damage scales of. So even if your skill costs magicka but your max stam is higher, the damage will go of stam. Same with weapon and spell damage. This means the only real thing is can you afford the cost, and cause we are heavy attacking with a lightning staff we can. I hope I’ve explained this in an easy to understand way. Potions. Exactly they are a buff like a skill. The 3 buffs they give, are more important then the actual resources they restore, because if the “medicinal use” passive that I discuss in the passive section. I hope this makes sense feel free to let me know if you need more help.
It’s on the list, for now I have 6 builds lined up and videos to make on all of them so it might a little bit before I get there. But please feel free to join the discord, or stream and we can work through your build and figure it out together!
@@RyanIsIffy Hey Ryan, nice video. Iam new to eso and start to play with a friend (Nightblade). We we're playing quiet casual but one day we will play endgame as well. I Just want to have fun but also quiet good damage and fluent gameplay. @@Dr_Y_Doodle hahaha I considered it, I’ve made a build with MV before, I did find Ansuul to be better on single targets like bosses and stuff though. Oh gosh a CB/MV trash build 😮 haha I might have to do this for raid!
@@RyanIsIffy yes, mostly trashbuster. But! I did Mazzatun HM with 1/3 of group DPS wearing CB/MV (being very well buffed by my teammates tho). So if a boss spawns adds, the setup might still be viable. One may also consider reaving blows CP, with such crazy amounts of aoe direct dmg bursts it gonna be like having pale order on :D
Why not animate blastbones? You’ll get a single corpse burst, but more importantly you’ll relocate corpses to the boss and reset their timer for later bursting. (Nothing worse than mid-fight movement leaving your siphon in Narnia)
These are good questions. 1) The damage comes from consuming a corpse to proc the set. So less corpses = less damage. You want as many as possible always. 2) blighted blastbones continuously spawns corpses vs it’s morph that only has 1 corpse every 20 seconds. This means there will always be a corpse on the enemy to explode and siphon from. 3) detonating is more like a spammable and because most of your corpses are always on the target it means it doesn’t matter where your target is, it will always be hit by siphoning and in turn the proc the set. Siphoning is a spammable to proc corpse burst so it shouldn’t be left anywhere as there’s always a corpse on the target. :) 🙂 I hope this helps explain it.
@@RyanIsIffy That makes sense. Animate Blastbones is a hella bursty ultimate, but you’d miss out on vulnerability from colossus and it’s far more expensive.
@@SkulledKing Omg I’m so silly. The set gets buffed by grave lord abilities slotted. So colo is really the only ultimate weapon can have there. You could have something else but it will be less damage. (I was thinking animate was grave lords sacrifice)
