Underpowered? Wtf? Summoner performs way better than mage during whole the playthrough and at any stage. Not even mentioning the fact you barely need to grind for new weapons and armour and that you can get 5k DPS no buffs right before fighting golem.
11:40 heat ray isn't trash, it's just because drinking mana potions gives a temporary debuff that decreases magic damage in percentages, and it also stacks since you needed to drink a mana potion every second the debuff made you do little to no damage

Idk, this mod doesn't really seem fun to me at all. Like, you're able to just make any weapon in the game super OP, which negates any real challenge, especially since you're playing on normal mode where everything is weaker. Like, if a copper shortsword can kill mech bosses in just a few seconds, that's not really fun. Sure, it's a novel gimmick for a while, but personally, I think having to progress through the game like normal is more fun because there's a real challenge that isn't just "I grinded the same boss for a few hours with an insta kill weapon." I get it that people like this mod, but being able to get a stupidly OP weapon before even entering hardmode just isn't fun or challenging. Why not just start with a Zenith instead? It's basically the same thing.
This is something you have to get used to with terraria or minecraft "but..." Videos, taking away the challenge, defeating the purpose of the game or not. it gets them views, so they probably won't stop anytime soon.

@@xyoosh132 maybe i'm just bad but apart from the mining thing, in a bossfight i struggle to realize where a good place to teleport is, and even if i do i fuck up my momentum/movement because of the tp and get hit anyways. so for me it just isn't worth it

It's called Vein Miner and it is HEAVENLY for any playthrough (Especially Calamity which can have ore veins upwards of 200-300 blocks)
