Well crap, this is a little like the idea i had for a Fortuneteller class. Basically, you create or buy decks, which come in Minor, Major, and Grand varieties. Minor decks have cards from 1-10, and do their effects based on the number. As an example: Pulling a 5 might deal 15 damage in an area, while a 10 deals 30 and a 1 deals 5. Major decks have face cards (JQK) added. These act like 10s, but also have an additional effect specified in the item description. Also, Aces replace 1 cards, and act at double the strength of a face card. Lastly. Grand decks have the Major Arcana from tarot. Each card has its own effect. The Luck stat affects whether positive or negative cards are drawn. For instance, the Sun would heal 3/4ths of missing HP and provide a short term regen bonus, while the Tower would drop large super-size grenades all around you, and Moon would temporarily induce reverse gravity. These effects are in addition to the deck's base attack, which depends on the deck. Certain armors and potions also help get the best card draws. The basic deck attack has you fling the card a short to medium range. The effect takes place either instantly or at the moment the projectile ends. Also, Minor and Major decks must be shuffled after all cards are used. A deck is automaticallt shuffled when you switch onto it, so you cannot cheese the system by swapping back and forth quickly. Grand decks do not shuffle, and you may draw the same card many times in a row. The other weapons would have been crystal balls, which would cause damage with a beam of light and tick up a counter, ceasing attacking for a second causes an effect based on the weapon and the count (so like there's a large hit of damage once you stack 20 hits if you wait, kinda like you're influencing the future), and Divining Rods which are melee-ranged, with low damage, but cause projectiles to spawn and attack from various other directions, from water bolts to bouncing fireballs to falling stars. Dude here is the lore of calamity: Following the obliteration of the Calamimultiverse, Goozma, the Eternal Sludge of Creation, forged a new cosmos, inhabited by Light, Dark, and Neutral Gods. A rift emerged as the Dark Gods, envious of the attention bestowed upon their Light counterparts, declared a relentless war. Noxus, a fusion of formidable Dark Gods, extinguished Goozma and waged a fierce campaign against the Light deities. Some among the Light Gods sought refuge in Ferraria, coalescing into the entity known as Xeroc. Noxus emerged triumphant over the Light Gods, corrupting planets and confronting the remaining resistance led by Xeroc. In pursuit, the cosmic beings Cthulhu and Steve chased the fleeing Light Gods to Ferraria. Noxus, relentless, vanquished Xeroc and left, oblivious to the burgeoning sentient life taking root in Ferraria. Two decades before the onset of the Great Calamity, Ignaus, a leader within a cult devoted to the Light Gods, utilized the enigmatic Terminus to resurrect Xeroc, resulting in a grotesque transformation. The family of the Light Gods suffered a tragic fate at the hands of Ignaus, who later adopted the name Yharim and vowed vengeance. Rising to power, Yharim established a ruthless regime, amassing an army, and governing with an iron fist. Draedon, a surviving scientist, aligned with Yharim, while jungle leaders forged a coalition against his tyranny. Four leaders spearheaded the rebellion. Yharim, in a brutal assault, targeted Daedalus' city, triggering a cataclysmic explosion. Permafrost metamorphosed into the elusive Cryogen and sought refuge. Yharim, in his quest for dominance, engaged in cloning experiments, yielding Bumblefolly and a failed attempt at recreating Yharon. Draedon's cloning efforts birthed a weaker version of Calitas Jane, cursed by Yharim. Meanwhile, Xeroc birthed Providence and Zeratros, formidable deities harboring a desire for world destruction. Yharim confronted them but suffered defeat. Calitas Jane, aided by a mysterious hooded figure later revealed as Flores, rebelled against Yharim. Yharim, undeterred, acquired the Royal Dragon Rebirth Auric Soul. Flores, in her defiance, created Virilli, the bearer of the Green Plague Auric Soul. Not here to argue but I must say that the concept is different, I recently went to the mod and after watching the video I have come to the conclusion that the concept is indeed his own. I may be flawed in my thinking however and encourage you to help me see if I really am acting as a fool. I have yet to play Orchids or the gambler mod so I am lacking in experience.
@@The_Clumsy_Librarian The two base ideas I will say are almost one to one, a terraria modded class based around using cards that are based off a variety of things and do a variety of things, those are the same but execution wise they are a bit different, what irked me the most about that dev is that he claimed that the concept of everything in the mod was solely his idea, but I give him props he executed the idea slightly differently, but I can totally see in the future someone confusing the two mods to be one in the same
I see, in the devs recent posts he says he has never heard of such a mod. If he were telling the truth then yes he would believe that this is his own idea. My personal favorite is corruption I just like the biome for whatever reason and the scourge of the corruptor is also an amazing weapon I honestly think it's better than the vampire knives tho I typically go with corruption because it's a bit harder from my experience the monsters tend to hit harder than those from the corruption I also do like the life drain staff which is a crimson biome mimic drop Thank you to anyone that has read this comment and hope you have a good day y'all
Corruption is way better imo, I just think that it’s easier and cooler. Crimson doesn’t sound like an evil tbh, but corruption sounds like a plague on the world. So hey, team corruption
If I may make a suggestion I recommend the instant respawn mod. Not for a video but to help you speed up your playthroughs. It eliminate the 10 second respawn timer
Beat terraria BUT, you movement only with grappling hooks, no minecarts, no mounts, no walk, no Inner Tube, no wings, no jump or double jumps, JUST grappling hooks. I think it's the hardest challenge (you start with the basic grappling hook)
Imagine if there was an uno reverse card that when you hit an enemy it clones the enemy but with less health and damage and will attack enemies near you
Title: "Chronicles of the Celestial Cataclysm" In the vast and mysterious world of Terraria, where adventurers seek fortune and glory, a dark force stirs beneath the surface, threatening to consume the entire realm. The heavens themselves tremble as the Celestial Cataclysm approaches, heralding an era of chaos and despair. The land, once teeming with life and vibrant landscapes, now faces an impending doom that can only be thwarted by the bravest of heroes. Act 1: Shadows of the Abyss Deep within the bowels of the underworld, a malevolent force known as the Abyssal Monarchs has awakened. These ancient, eldritch beings, imprisoned for eons, now seek to break free from their shackles and unleash a reign of terror upon Terraria. As they send their shadowy minions to the surface, the world is plunged into darkness, and the first signs of the Celestial Cataclysm manifest. New biomes emerge, corrupted and twisted by the Abyssal Monarchs' influence. Strange and formidable creatures lurk in the shadows, preying on unsuspecting adventurers. The once-peaceful towns are besieged, and the NPCs struggle to defend their homes. Act 2: The Rise of the Scourge As the Abyssal Monarchs gain strength, an ancient cosmic cult known as the Void Revenants emerges, seeking to harness the power of the Celestial Cataclysm for their own nefarious purposes. The cult unleashes a cosmic plague, corrupting the very essence of the world. Strange rifts appear, connecting Terraria to otherworldly realms, and nightmarish abominations pour through. To combat this growing threat, the heroes must delve into the heart of the cosmic rifts, battling otherworldly creatures and collecting rare artifacts. These artifacts hold the key to unlocking new, powerful abilities and crafting legendary weapons forged from the essence of the celestial realms. Act 3: The Final Convergence The celestial rifts converge in the sky, forming a massive portal to the realm of the Abyssal Monarchs. The heroes must ascend to the heavens, facing cosmic challenges and powerful celestial guardians. As they breach the celestial gate, they discover the true source of the Celestial Cataclysm - an ancient cosmic entity known as Yharim, the Celestial Tyrant. Yharim, corrupted by the Abyssal Monarchs, seeks to consume Terraria and ascend to godhood. The heroes must confront Yharim in an epic battle that spans the celestial realms. The fate of Terraria hangs in the balance as the heroes strive to prevent the total annihilation of their world. Epilogue: A New Dawn With Yharim defeated and the celestial rifts sealed, Terraria begins to heal. The corrupted biomes recede, and the NPCs rebuild their homes. The heroes, hailed as saviors, are celebrated throughout the land. Yet, whispers of another looming threat on the horizon linger in the wind, hinting at new adventures and challenges to come. The world of Terraria, though scarred by the Celestial Cataclysm, stands resilient, ready for a new era of exploration and triumph.

do a terraria scratch 100 days you promest it
My personal favorite is corruption I just like the biome for whatever reason and the scourge of the corruptor is also an amazing weapon I honestly think it's better than the vampire knives tho I typically go with corruption because it's a bit harder from my experience the monsters tend to hit harder than those from the corruption I also do like the life drain staff which is a crimson biome mimic drop
Thank you to anyone that has read this comment and hope you have a good day y'all
I like the crimson becuse there are no holes in the ground
That I die to
“99% of gamblers quit right before they win big”
"and, at this point, with my newly found OPENIS..." 21:43
Corruption is way better imo, I just think that it’s easier and cooler. Crimson doesn’t sound like an evil tbh, but corruption sounds like a plague on the world. So hey, team corruption
i like the crimson cuz it’s easier to traverse and the boss is more challenging (imo) but the Worm Scarf is crazy through the rest of the playthrough
If I may make a suggestion I recommend the instant respawn mod. Not for a video but to help you speed up your playthroughs. It eliminate the 10 second respawn timer
About gravestones. I have no info but just a guess - cannot it be related with Halloween?
if 5 or more gravestones are close to eachother the biome becomes graveyarg
i like both evil biomes, and i actually like the brain fight
WOAH I FEEL SO ASHAME WHY DID YOU PLAY MY MOD
W mod
I wanna start a play through with it
Bro that face during the 12 minute mark be looking SINISTER bro
thats basically a mod that shows u what 4-whip-stack feels like
My preference is Corruption, mostly because I think it looks somewhat nicer
Wait the gambler class was updated !!!
Crimson because:
-icor
-easyer to travel terrain
-more arena space
You are so right by the evils bioms.😂
Beat terraria BUT, you movement only with grappling hooks, no minecarts, no mounts, no walk, no Inner Tube, no wings, no jump or double jumps, JUST grappling hooks. I think it's the hardest challenge (you start with the basic grappling hook)
19:52 Walmart go brrrr. :)
Corruption gang
Honestly love your videos I only play on my phone so I can't mod my game I watch your modded gameplay instead
Crimson is the best and I have reasons why. 1,it provides better gear 2, it has a cool environment 3, it has creat enemy names
I like the corruption because it reminds of decay and well I hate being drugged during a bossfight
This mod feels very indecisive
One of the most published videos in Minecraft is manhunt videos. Just set your goal and manhunt in Terraria.🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
"They don't call me Fingers for nothin"
i like both crimson and corruption due to the Hard mode drops from the enemies that spawn there
Do you forgot about life fruits
When I read the title, I immediately thought "Hakari class?"
Imagine if there was an uno reverse card that when you hit an enemy it clones the enemy but with less health and damage and will attack enemies near you
There is a Walmart in the background of the underworld lol😂😂😂
Id say its more tarot than gabling, but cool concept nonetheless (even if it is sligthly stealing from verveine)
20:07 they built that walmart with money they should have paid their workers.
champions never quit
Setzer wouod be proud *FF3 music plays*
Title: "Chronicles of the Celestial Cataclysm"
In the vast and mysterious world of Terraria, where adventurers seek fortune and glory, a dark force stirs beneath the surface, threatening to consume the entire realm. The heavens themselves tremble as the Celestial Cataclysm approaches, heralding an era of chaos and despair. The land, once teeming with life and vibrant landscapes, now faces an impending doom that can only be thwarted by the bravest of heroes.
Act 1: Shadows of the Abyss
Deep within the bowels of the underworld, a malevolent force known as the Abyssal Monarchs has awakened.
Act 2: The Rise of the Scourge
As the Abyssal Monarchs gain strength, an ancient cosmic cult known as the Void Revenants emerges, seeking to harness the power of the Celestial Cataclysm for their own nefarious purposes.
Act 3: The Final Convergence
The celestial rifts converge in the sky, forming a massive portal to the realm of the Abyssal Monarchs.
Epilogue: A New Dawn
With Yharim defeated and the celestial rifts sealed, Terraria begins to heal.
Da hell
i like crimson more beacouse of bigger variety of monsters, better caves, less boring bossfight and that item that gives you chance to dodge all incoming damage
7:57 my like button suddenly go rainbow only when not full screen
I love crimson for the ichor and so that I can't get wormed the second I get into hard mode
bro sounded a little strange when he started using the meteorite card
You should play infinite dungeons
I prefer the vamp knives too, but I hate all the crimson enemies
Brain of Cthulhu is the worst box, so my favourite corruption biome is corruption
Twisted Fate moment
36:06 if u didn't have the qol mod for the bridge u wouldn't need the qol to summon cultists
I like crimson because I grew up playing on a crimson world
crimson: because if the brain of confusion and vampire knives
Walmart at underworld☠️
39:21 why do I feel like this is a Yu-Gi-Oh GX reference.

To everyone who says the Starter Bag is cheating-
We all know Boio would've gotten all of that within a couple hours, and it doesn't make for great content. He wants to show the meat and potatoes of the mod or mods.
The wizard sells rod of discord if he lives in the hallow biome
You sure you haven't been playing Calamity for too long?
@@Perrigon okay maybe I have xD
Bruh
Personally I use corruption because the boss is a lot more like other bosses and vampire knives are worse than the scorage of the corruption because you can just dodge anyone who requires the crimson crutch is bad
