You have to be one of the best sim youtubers I've come across since I started flight sim. Thx soo much.

Next try Sandane Airport, Anda. ENSD. The approach there is.....interesting. Especially in winter with low clouds and strong winds, which is common for this area. Wideroe flies this with a Dash 8 100's. The runway is 970x30 meters, with steep dropoffs on either end. There is also terrain on both sides. This is almost as bad as Lukla, and considering the frequent bad weather, I'd probably say more challenging....

Great video from one of my favourite airports. Worth noting that just as you leave 7000 and comment "making it up slightly", you are already 200ft below the MSA of 7200!
This airport was even more sporty up until 2008 as the runway was only 1700m long, still operated daily by aircraft up to 737/A320.

Well done, possibly your best video yet. As a Private Pilot in the USA I truly appreciate the extra effort you put into actually teaching, such as you did showing the approach in different weather conditions after you made your initial landing. Keep up the great work.

I really enjoy tour videos. The in depth explanations are just what I appreciate in a video when describing an approach. That is an approach that just reiterates the requirement for airmen to be on their game and always be a step ahead of their aircraft because things can go very near shaped very quickly if you don't stick with the programme.

Really enjoyed this approach - it's not one I was familiar with, so great to fly something different. Really getting the hand of non-precision approaches now thanks to these guides. Many thanks.

Very very enjoyable to watch! Your videos are great to get a brief recap of certain ops procedures even though obviously this is not intended for training. But the way you go through each of your thought processes and how you explain everything is really great, so thank you!

Fantastic video, especially the notes at the end about less-than-ideal conditions! I would love to see more videos of approaches and procedures in awful weather - maybe including go-arounds when you don't plan to go-around (like when you did go-around tutorials). Your content is some of the best on UA-cam!

GREAT GREAT GREAT video (and channel). I really appreciate how you put the charts on center stage and go beyond academic interpretations and into real-world application and how you make it all make sense. This channel is all about the good stuff explained by an expert, like an expert. Thank you, and please, more, more, more. This is a true service to all simmers out there, and to any real world or aspiring pilots who are keen enough to realize that this sort of knowledge sharing will improve outcomes across the board. Subscribed!

Great video as ever, never knew about this approach so gives me something to try! Personally I like the deeper background/context/information, which I think is still a bit difficult in the A32NX (as much as it progresses). For example I would love to see an LPV or LNAV/VNAV approach in the ToLiss (6:55). But either way this is simply great content!

Just a comment, the town center is due west og the airport.
Regionals has come and gone in part of operation at this airport through the years. However its mainly used by Widerøe, Norwegian and SAS. Hopefully Flyr is starting up there as well.
International there is charters to spain from the airport.
Its also a fun fact that from Molde one can see 82 mountain tops in the vincinity.

Another fab video thanks so much… I noticed that the approach chart for molde has two sets of circling lights to the south and south east of the runway… what’s the purpose and aircraft type usage of those and are those lights on the orbyx scenery? Thanks

Thank you for this! I am loving all of your video's, I could listen to you talk and fly all day haha! Question though, what are you using for replay software? I can't for the life of me get a decent replay using the FBW320. I'm going to want to try this app down to min's tonight when I get home and would love to try and watch it afterwards. Thanks again!!!

How do you make those replays? Is this a new features in MSFS? Also, how do you take those ground shots with plane tracking?

MSFS 2020 has frozen fjords and it annoys me. The water is to warm for them to freeze over and only rarely they do when we have extreme cold.

29:27 No you cannot adjust visibility and people have requested this since release and Asobo still have not implemented it... another example of how much they dropped the ball on essential features for a credible flight simulator as opposed to a graphically pretty virtual world. Just one of the many reasons I swapped to X-Plane and haven't looked back.
