Correct. If you are planning a crime the Prosecutors can apply for the client/attorney privilege can be waived. As a co-operating witness Cohen is exempt.
Cohen was legally exempt and Costello wasn't exempt. Different circumstances entirely. Cohen should sue the pants off of Costello.
I don't know what trial you are watching but they still haven't proven a crime was ever committed.. and when it comes to Cohen he has no attorney client privilege either since he never actually hired the attorney that the defense is hopefully going to bring next.. don't know if they even need him since Cohen was caught lying under oath and even admitted to stealing thirty thousand dollars.. credible witness? Biden gets away with everyone of his crimes because of the two tier justice system and democrats are perfectly fine with that but when it comes to Trump you want him in prison for the same things that Biden has done.. the country was way better off under Trump than Biden but some people just don't use fairness or even common sense when it comes to the law

The prosecution opened the trial by explaining how Michael Cohen used to lie professionally. He talked about why he changed. They have documents and recordings. How did they think it would help to show that he was either afraid to tell the truth about Trump, or still in the cult, probably before his family had an intervention? The first part of the trial wasn't that long ago, I think the jury can remember back that far.
Thanks to Robert Costello for strengthening the government's case! Costello desperately wanted to destroy Cohen but ended up strengthening the government's case!

What's the point of t;his video?????????? You are not making any sense. Apparently, from people in the courtroom we learn that Costello was TERRIBLE for the defense. NOT more fodder for them to discredit Cohen. The judge even had to clear the courtroom to admonish him (this is the big story today!!!). MSNBC has lost its way in the last few days, starting with Ari Melbur last Thursday night. They want to report on huge points scored for the Defense that just were not there. Hopefully, the jury won't see this skewed pro-Trump reporting from these last few days.

And they would have never charged this case on Cohen’s words, it would have been a disaster, they charged this case because the evidence supports his claims. I don’t think for a second that the prosecutors are surprised by this news at all. So it maybe a bombshell to the public but not to prosecutors. This is people pretending they think like a prosecutor that have never been a prosecutor. It doesn’t change the evidence.
