Me and my fishing offsider need the number of brads swearing rehab lol. Great advice with the extra ray price when storing spotties. Ppl who say they're bad eating are either fussy or don't keep em cold enough. I've been eating vacuum sealed spotties for last 11 months fukn delicious. Anyone wants a good mackerel recipe google creek to coast mackerel curry bloody lovely meal

Curious are you blokes catching the slimeys in close on the reefs or do you fish wider bait grounds for them ?
Captain Sweary and the Mumblet. Mate that is gold. Could be our new channel name lol! We get the slimies from right in close on the headlands to the wide bait ground out near the Light. They can be buggers to track down sometimes. In that vid we found them in 30m
Nice fish and a good video. What was the water temp and what depth do you fish for macks? I'm keen to give it a go a bit further south.
Thanks for watching mate. Water was just over 25 degrees that day so pretty warm. Anything over 22 is good for spannos. 24 for wahoo. We were in 30m. I like 15m to 40m for Spanish.

Rob, would you be able to point me in general areas for bait and places to tow livies around for spotties, I annually fish SWR end of March, but over crossing the bar, another boat was lost yesterday, so I’ll travel an hour to Coffs to be a safer option, any help appreciated
