  • If this mission is tricky for Air Raider and Range due to limited movement options, particularly during the start, Fencer has a very, very easy and cheesy life here. The only flyers are 2 Krakens on 3 of the 4 waves, and these will be easy to ignore, since there's a ton of NPCs that they will focus on.
The weapons I used are the level 84 Spine Driver MA, the 83 YH7 Dispersal Mortar, dual 71 FGX High Altitude Impact Launcher, and 77 Dash Cell 5 and 72 Ad Booster 5 enhancements.
Spine and YH7 will be only used to attack Krakens if necessary and to enable movement with the enhancements.
The missile duo is your main work horse here, as does makes the mission very easy.
Mission flow is very, very easy.
Start bombarding Krulls and Krakens with FGX, while keep moving. Once they're mostly gone and before the second wave makes progress, pick all possible NPC squads. Don't do it while the plasma Krulls are still bombarding them.
Then run away, first to front, then right. Always using FGX as much as possible, and feeding NPCs if possible too. Try to focus FGX on frogs in the last 2 waves, and on the laser cosmos in the last one. If you see a quiet break go for the Krakens or Large Androids with YH7 and Spine Driver.
That's it, no major troubles here.
NPCs are pretty resilient and will last a long time, and WD NPCs move very well here.
Fencer is almost brainless on these missions. Only Kraken could present some problem to him on this one, as there are no other flyers.
    Have fun,

My issue using this weapon in 5 they are double lock so when I intended to lock-on singular enemy in a massive horde they make it double lock

      Hi.
If you're using dual FGX you have 2 options: either use both simultaneously, or use them in tandem. There are pluses and minuses to each approach.
Simultaneously, they can do more damage, but they can both fail by hitting terrain or buildings.
In tandem, you can keep sometimes enemies more in trouble as you'll be hitting them twice as much, but with half the power. This works well with frogs and cosmos for instance, because you're breaking their movement twice in a row. You should aim and hit a group of enemies with one of the missile pods, then when those are launched, aim and use the other while the first rebuilds.
FGX like all guided weapons isn't a precise weapon. It's very hard to just hit a few enemies or specific ones, unless they're very far apart from all others in the map.
Unlike GX Arm Hound, FGX has a large blast area. This is good because it will hit other enemies around the one you've targeted, but it's bad because it also does serious damage to NPCs if the enemies are near them.
It can also send enemies flying away and they will be spread all over the map and in tougher places for you to handle. It can be troublesome with silver spiders, particularly online. But it's good for blue tadpoles.
FGX has an older brother on EDF 6 DLCs. They're much more powerful and quick than FGX, and less prone to self-destruction.
Hope this helps in any way.
      Have fun,
