Lol! Gyal, you guys did an amazing job here at preparing this boloungey . The word bigan came from India but its actually pronounced differently from how Guyanaese says it.
baingan is one way, brinjal is another its just that we pronounced it differently. Mek de pikney the lil paratha na . Have a blessed day guys ❤❤🙏👍🏽✌️💯❤️❤️❤️🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾✔️✔️✔️✔️

@@deborahmohammed8184 thanks sis 😘
What about if you have a outside stove the one with the gas bottle. Do you have to wrap the baigan in foil paper also?
No love you don’t have to u can put it directly on the flame low and slow heat

. Thank you so much my dear. I love your cooking. You're so down to earth. Continue cooking with that pleasantly face.
@@amynazneen3519 😘😘you are such a sweetheart
If you're using outdoor stoves, you don't have to wrap it. I NEVER wrap my eggplants. I do add the garlic like you have done.
I wrap it so it can lock in all the juice and moisture keep the eggplant nice and juicy
In answer to your hubby's question where does the word Bigan originate from, it's actually an old Dutch word.
Thanks for taking the time to explain that appreciate you sharing the knowledge my friend stay blessed 😘
1 minute u say egg plant, next time u say bigan.
And ?? You do know it has tons of different names
Check out Sandy backyard kitchen she is copying everything you do and your recipe
