Aunty shanty my mother use to put the pepper in the oil and burn it and then put it in Choka man that use to go down good.
I still do that....the pepper and onions helps the oil get a nice flavour....it does go down good...lol
My mother does and taught me the same…add hot oil to the buljol. Looks so delicious 😋
