Garden walking tour-winter garden

Enjoy a walking tour of our 1-acre subtropical garden. This garden is a mix of preserved native saw palmetto forest, tropical food forest, and vegetable beds. Video taken in December in zone 9b, Southwest Florida.

I was at a seminar where the presenter was talking about edible native plants. She had brought with her some Beautyberry jelly that was quite tasty. Someone asked her how she had made it and when she listed off how much sugar she had to add to make it taste good, a number of us made appointments to check if we had developed diabetes... a bit of an exaggeration, but it was a LOT of sugar.

Precisely. That is why we leave ours for the birds. I looked at some recipes and was not willing to put that much sugar in my body so it is not worth it in my opinion.
