I would need at least 45 days to pace myself, and if affordable, maybe 50-55 days, so that I can take care of any incidentals. Yes, I will cry, but once I do....I will let go of whatever it is I am holding on to. Physical injuries are different, but I would take whatever time needed to recuperate, and keep the camino going.

I did the whole Camino. Lots of feet issues. Lots of suffering, lots of joy. But yes, surrender to the pain. It is what it is. Totally worth it.
